The guest says he was traveling on a highway through Kananaskis with friends many years ago when they saw a large dark creature in a clearing set back from the road. He viewed it from the side and behind for a short time as it moved, noting great height, heavy build, broad shoulders, very long thick arms, no visible neck, and dark brown to black hair. He says it was neither a human nor a bear, moved with a slight bend in the knees, and left the group stunned. He adds he had no camera and later felt frustrated at lacking photographic proof.
