The witnesses report finding a looping trail in snow that left a road, crossed a creek to a concealed overlook of the road, then returned to the road nearby. They also found a banana peel in a tree and an apple by the road, which they interpreted as someone attempting to lure the track-maker to the road. They estimated the tracks were a couple days old.
