Account
The guest and a companion were hiking near old mines when they heard a low whooping sound. They noticed it seemed to echo each footstep when they walked and pause then resume when they stopped, which they tested with hand signals. The area was otherwise silent, the sound was gone on their return, and they left feeling they had interacted with something intelligent.
