The witness was camping overnight by a river when dogs barked then whimpered and fell quiet. While pretending to be asleep, the witness heard something walking in the water, smelled a strong foul odor, and felt it brush past during an encounter lasting about four minutes. After daybreak the witness found very large foot-like indentations and mashed prints in sand around the camp.
