Eyeshine near Butte Falls, Oregon (2025)
Account
The guest, his brother, his large wolf hybrid, and another investigator parked for the night at a remote landing believed to be active. The dog became alert, stared and backed up, crunching footsteps were heard below, eyeshine and a white-hot thermal shape were glimpsed, and a grayish moving heat blob was seen above. The group felt surrounded, the dog panicked into the van, and dense brush exploded as something moved uphill when a spotlight was used.
