Account
The witness's friend was walking a shortcut past a dead tree with a dog that bristled and stared, then watched something enter the cabin. That night the friend dreamed of wrestling a giant owl-like figure and woke exhausted. An elder later said the figure was a spirit met at a life crossroads.
