Scat in Alaska
Account
During a first research trip of the year to Area A, the guest and a companion found unusual scat containing seeds. It did not match bear scat familiar to the guest and was not clearly wolf, coyote, moose or deer. They photographed and collected it and sent images for expert opinion, which leaned toward bear.
