Wood knock in Alaska (2022)
Account
The group sat at an elevated fire pit overlooking the water in the early morning. They heard very distinct wood-knock sounds mixed with noises interpreted as rocks moving through trees, hitting the rocky shore, then splashing into the water. Thermal scanning revealed nothing, and later attempts to roll rocks down the mossy hill did not reproduce the sound.
