About a week after the yard sighting the guest was driving down School Street with her older son when the same white ape-like animal galloped on all fours across the road just ahead of their car and disappeared into a wooded section. The brief view confirmed the younger son's description and convinced them he had really seen something. She later checked height memories with both sons and noted no news of escaped zoo animals.
