On October 11, 2014 three researchers worked a remote Adams County road at night. They heard whistles, screaming and howling with coyotes, a powerful baboon-like scream at a bridge, and were surrounded by vocal replies. One companion saw a cone-headed form peek around a tree, and the guest confronted heavy breathing and a chest-vibrating growl in the woods before fleeing.
