Fisherman don't return to their hot spot after strange encounter one night near Aberdeen
The witness and a companion arrived at dusk at their regular riverbank fishing spot to fish overnight. While gathering firewood, the witness found small barefoot human-like footprints in sand at the water's edge and showed them to the companion. They joked about the find and dismissed it at the time, only later interpreting the prints as possibly left by a juvenile after other experiences.

In June 2008 around 9:30 p.m., the witness was walking with a child along a road toward a farm when a strange high-pitched howl and musty odor were noticed. A tall, hairy human-like figure emerged from a cornfield and followed at a distance as they hurried toward a waiting vehicle. When vehicle headlights were turned on, the figure paused, vocalized again, and retreated quickly into the corn. The waiting adult also heard the vocalization.

In June 2008 the witness was camping and stepped into the woods behind the campsite in the early evening. After hearing a loud crash, the witness saw a dark muscular human-like figure moving quickly through brush toward a ravine about 20-30 feet away. The two companions did not see the figure, and no tracks or other sign were found the next morning.

The witness stopped her van on a rural road when a distant head first mistaken for a horse approached on all fours. It stopped near a house, then charged down a hill and passed inches in front of the van, revealing hands with visible palm creases, feet without hooves, muscular legs, and fine dark hair. The witness and three companions turned five dogs loose at night when powerful screams were directed first at the men then at the dogs. Something bipedal with heavy footsteps ran fast left to right toward the dogs, silencing them. The dogs were found wedged in a road culvert and had to be pulled out. A daylight return found a single-file running trackway down the hill.

The witness was riding as a passenger with a friend on a snowy back road at night. Headlights illuminated a tall, hair-covered biped standing by a Y-shaped tree very close to the car. It squinted, shielded its eyes with a large hand, showed large teeth, then turned showing muscular definition and walked downhill away as the pair fled.

The witness was driving when they saw a large dark humanoid-like figure in and crossing the road. The figure leapt over a roadside drainage ditch in a track-style leap and moved into a heavily wooded area. The whole episode lasted about three seconds and the witness did not stop.
Woman recounts possible early evening sighting near Saybrook
The witness was driving home with her son at dusk when a tall, dark-furred biped with long arms crossed the road in front of their vehicle in about three strides and entered the woods. After pulling into the driveway, they noticed a strong rotten odor and heard branches breaking and a high-pitched woot sound. They went inside, and the odor was gone when the witness returned outside an hour later.

The witness and a companion camped beside a strip pond after fishing and cooking. Around 4 a.m. the witness awoke to heavy footsteps coming down a steep high wall to the tent, followed by heavy breathing and a throat-clear that mimicked his own. He shouted that he had a gun while his companion remained asleep, then heard the visitor drink from the water with its hands, sit briefly by the tent, and climb back up. The next morning they found 18-inch tracks at the edge of the reeds.

The next night near dumpsters by the river, the group heard angry gorilla-like grunting and recorded the last 30 seconds as the East Central Ohio Bigfoot Chatter. The guest listened with a bionic ear as a bipedal creature climbed a steep bank and watched from behind a tree for about 20 minutes with faint reddish-orange eyeshine.

The witness was driving north on Route 271 near a ski resort around 6 p.m. on a clear day when an upright, hairy figure was seen at the top of a hill. The figure had its back turned and walked away toward a tree line and thick woods during a sighting lasting only a few seconds. The witness felt the figure was neither a man nor a bear, recalling dark brown hair that looked matted in places.

Through the night gravel hit the van roof, brush crashed on different sides of the hill, and eyeshine appeared downhill. The witness was walking with a dog to a tree fort by a creek when the dog growled. The witness saw a reddish-haired female creature squatting and drinking, which then stood, looked at the witness and dog, smiled, jumped across the creek, and climbed a steep hill grabbing trees.
Possible approach at night near Chesterland
After storms, the witness drove alone at night to a park to watch for activity. Looking down a private lane near a parking lot, she saw a set of large blue-white eyes high off the ground with smaller similar lights below. The eyes stayed still then swayed while the smaller lights moved and appeared and disappeared, prompting her to leave. She returned shortly with relatives but found no trace.
