The witness was picking up pecans in the yard with her young daughter in the morning when she heard pigs squealing from the neighbor's pen. She looked toward the wooded back yard and saw a large erect hairy creature with a human-like face holding a baby pig against its chest. After staring at each other, she grabbed her daughter and ran inside shouting for her husband to get his gun, but the creature was gone when he went out to check.

In the early afternoon the witness was gigging for frogs from a relative's boathouse pier when a tall, dark, hairy biped emerged from a swamp about 175-250 yards away and waded knee-deep into the water. The creature looked both ways, bent over twice to swing an arm into the water with a splash as if fishing, then stared toward the witness before walking back into the swamp like a person. A few minutes later it reappeared at the same spot and repeated the same actions before leaving again and not returning during another hour the witness remained.

The writer's brother was driving alone late at night on Skyball Mountain when he smelled a strong odor. He saw a large dark hair-covered figure in tall weeds beside the road that stepped onto the road and stared at him while he stopped and watched for a minute or more. The figure then walked into the woods on the other side of the road and he drove home.

The witness was driving a VW bus around a tight curve at night when the headlights illuminated a white-haired creature loping uphill on all fours toward the road. As it reached the road edge within feet of the vehicle, it stood upright on its hind legs. The witness drove past it, did not see it in the mirrors in the dark, and was frightened.

The witness and a companion were walking down an old pulpwood road with a dog when they noticed a strong goat-like odor and heard rustling and a tree shaking. The witness pulled back branches and saw a tall, hair-covered biped running away downhill on two legs. The companion did not see the creature. The witness lost sight of it in pines and underbrush near a swampy area.

A teenager walking back from a pond across a field saw a very dark tall figure walking along a path about 50 yards away. The figure was visible from the torso up above tall sagebrush, estimated at about 8 feet tall, and walked with its head slightly bent forward before going into the woods. The witness ran home to tell relatives.

At a dirt road she came within about 10 feet of two small, hairy, human-like figures standing together on the opposite side. They looked at each other for about a minute before she ran to the house, and the figures were gone when she walked back.
