The witness was sitting alone by a campfire late at night when a very loud, high-pitched wailing howl began in the woods at a distance. The sound continued intermittently for about ten minutes, seeming to move slowly, with no answering calls heard. The witness felt it did not match known wolves, coyotes, or cougars and concluded it must have been a Sasquatch.

While hiking with two relatives in the Siuslaw National Forest, the witness was shown a single large footprint in dried mud beside the trail. The print was measured, photographed, and cast, and the surrounding area was searched for additional sign without success. The witness states the origin of the print is undetermined.

The witness was walking alone on an old road at the edge of a meadow in the evening when a very loud, long-lasting bellowing-like sound came from woods across the meadow. The witness kept watching while cutting the walk short and returning to the vehicle. No other people, vehicles, or camps were seen in the area when leaving.

After another family with dogs left, the group noticed a tall hairy figure watching from the treeline. The witness was fishing from one bank of a wide swift river when two loud branch snaps were heard from brush across the river. While watching that bank, the witness saw a bipedal figure move through a clearing for about three seconds from about 25 yards away. The figure was described as barrel-chested with no neck, first thought to be a man but then interpreted as having a sasquatch profile.

At night while using a computer at home, the witness heard odd sounds and saw a bigfoot looking in through the back window. The witness greeted it, and it turned away and walked toward the field behind the house. The witness later found a large footprint with apparent dermal ridges on the bank behind the house and reported talk-like voices that could not be imitated.

During an overnight fishing trip the witness and his girlfriend were sleeping in a parked vehicle near a cabin when they noticed a tall hair-covered figure standing at the tree line and two smaller crouched figures near a truck. After alerting a companion in the cabin, the witness started the vehicle to shine lights on the figures, which then fled into the trees. A companion reported something running across the road as they drove, and later the group heard commotion near the lake.

The witness was driving home around midnight when he saw a tall figure standing by a roadside fence watching him pass. Believing it was a man needing help, he stopped, got out with a flashlight, and started walking back toward it. He returned the next day to recover the flashlight and found only flattened grass with no footprints or hair.

The witness photographed the area, heard and saw nothing further, found no other tracks, and later found possible scat in the direction the animal headed.

The witness was walking in woods behind the house in late afternoon when rustling was heard ahead. A very tall dark hairy biped stepped into a small clearing about 20 yards away, looked at the witness, then turned and left into the tree line. The witness was mowing a lawn when rocks were repeatedly thrown toward them, accompanied by a foul odor and laughter-like sounds. They then saw a very tall creature behind a tree and fled toward a door. Looking back, they saw it running through trees and brush.

The witness drove into a logging job and pulled up a spur road to get out of truck traffic and relieve himself. Sunlight briefly broke through and lit what he thought was a stump, which he then realized was a hair-covered figure squatting to hide. The figure stood and left quickly up the ridgeline while the witness ran back to his rig and kept the event to himself for years.

While on a fishing and camping trip, the witness and a friend sat by the river at night listening for fish. A large rock splashed into shallow water about five feet in front of them after traveling about 30 yards from a steep bank with no roads or trails. Frightened, the witness fired his sidearm and returned to sleep in his truck.

Two motorists driving westbound on the freeway at night reported a very tall, thin, hair-covered biped crossing in front of their car toward the river. They narrowly missed striking it and lost sight of it at the guardrail. They then called a relative by cell phone to report what had happened.
