The young witness and a friend finished fishing class and walked a short way down a trail to look toward another fishing spot. They heard a third set of footsteps that stopped when they stopped and called out with no answer. They then saw a blurry roughly six-foot-tall mass peeking from behind a thin tree about fifty feet away, left quickly, and avoided returning to that trail.

Late at night heavy gunfire erupted while the witness remained inside the house. A strange creature appeared face-to-face at the open cargo door, stuck its head inside, screamed, and shook the vehicle. The driver grabbed a pistol, struggled with it, fired through the doorway, and saw at least two figures before slamming the door.
