He peeked around the house and saw a self-emitting blue ball about softball to grapefruit size floating across the driveway. As retold by the witness, the relative and friends were driving on a raccoon hunt when the dogs hid under the truck. A spotlight revealed a small ape-like figure running uphill, then headlights revealed a much larger hairy man-like figure shaking trees and throwing rocks as they drove away.

Shortly after, an answering roar came from the top of his own mountain behind him. The two roars went back and forth, shaking his RV, and he went inside with his dog.

About two football fields from the prior laughing incident, the witness saw bright red eyes about three feet off the ground that looked like a crouched mass. As he approached it stood to tower over him, revealing black hair, gray skin on face, chest and palms, and wide shoulders. It growl-barked, stared at him, then backed silently into the darkness and vanished.

A couple set up a tent late at night in a small Arkansas river campground and noticed broken trees, a single large glowing eye by the river, then two large eyes watching from uphill. After going to sleep they were awakened by bipedal footsteps, owl-like calls turning to chatter, pebbles hitting the tent, touches to the tent and truck, and movement around camp. The man blew an air horn, they fled in their truck, later returned in daylight to find large footprints and discovered his phone had recorded sounds through the night.

The witness was elk hunting on horseback in fresh snow and found a human-like trackway crossing near camp with large four-toed prints. He showed the tracks to others in camp and followed them uphill about half a mile through timber. His horse became increasingly nervous sniffing the tracks and refused to continue in blow-downs, so he skirted the timber, found no exit tracks, and gave up the follow.

Home alone midday, the witness saw an old-man-like figure crawl from bushes into the backyard, sniff the air, and approach the house while making strange noises. He confronted it with an unloaded shotgun from the deck until it turned and crawled back into the brush on a trail.
