While on a large rural wooded farm, the guest and the farm owner heard what sounded like an off-trail dirt bike uphill on old roads. They hiked up to investigate and found no bike tracks in moist ground and impassable fallen timber. The companion reported hearing conversational voices that the guest could not hear, and they left the area.

While at a remote bush cabin, the guest stepped outside and heard a close-range high-pitched wailing and sighing sound about 100 feet away. He formed the impression of a nervous female with young nearby alerting others to his presence.

In his early twenties the guest bushwhacked to a remote trailless high mountain lake to look for Sasquatch and camped overnight. He woke at night to a high-pitched howling unlike coyote, and in the morning found a large track impression in mud in front of his tent. He felt an urgent need to leave, hurried down hearing branches cracking behind him, and the urgency lifted when he reached sunshine and the creek.

The witness walked from the old bridge to a riverbank to fish for a few minutes. Hearing a stick snap, he looked up to see a large black figure crouched near the trail junction. It stood, turned, and crashed through the woods away from him. He quickly left the bank, returned to his vehicle, and locked the doors.

The witness was driving home alone on Afton Road after first getting his license. A single yellowish light followed him, closed very fast, filled his rear window, then appeared to jump into the vehicle and flood the interior with blinding white light before vanishing. Through brush about 60 feet away he saw a large head with a black mask-like eye stripe staring at him, then it turned and left with slight brush movement.

In the morning at the north-side parking lot, the witness and partner heard bipedal shuffling, approached a cabbage palm patch about 60 feet from the car, and heard something burst through saw palmettos running on clear steps while screaming like a frightened boy. They could not see it in the thick brush.

While alone in a deer stand in the dark morning the witness heard an extremely loud scream like a woman screaming in pain that she compared to a monster giving birth. She says no human could make a sound that loud, and she did not want to move or remain alone.

That night at camp the witness woke shaking and then became violently ill, vomiting repeatedly for hours while her husband was unaffected. Through the tent she saw a bluish-white light hovering above and moving slightly, in a direction inconsistent with the moon. When the light disappeared the sickness stopped and she could sleep.

Early in a daytime float the witness saw motion on a bluff and first thought two hikers were heading to a cave. She realized both figures appeared entirely brown, with the larger ushering the smaller into the cave and turning its whole upper body to look toward the river.
