The guest and his wife were riding an ATV to their blind early in the morning when a barefoot figure ran across the trail about 30 feet ahead. The wife did not see it. They stopped and found a fresh bare footprint filling with water and joked about a person out barefoot in cold weather.

The guest joined a fellow researcher to investigate a location with large fresh tracks. After heavy rain forced them out, they visited another nighttime area near cattle pasture where animals were said to feed. As they approached closely they noticed a strong odor and had sticks thrown toward them, though the animals remained unseen.

Late in the day in dark rainy conditions, they observed a large upright figure from the van and recorded it with a small camcorder. As children playing in the creek behind a relative's house, the witness and a younger cousin saw a tall dark hairy form peek from behind a tree. Both children ran up the hill into the house and reported a very large being bigger than an adult relative. An adult suggested it was a deer and kept them inside.

While staying back at a cabin during a scout camping trip, the witness heard a very loud wood crack like a branch breaking or tree falling. There was no wind and no birds or small animal sounds before or after, which struck the witness as unusual.

On a return visit the witness found a branch high off the ground that was snapped, twisted and pulled with a fresh clean break and no debris below. The witness measured the height with a child standing underneath for scale and also noted woven triangular tree formations in the same wooded area.

The witness left his tent during a multi-day backpacking trip and walked up a trail where he found a large hairy figure squatted in the trail. The figure watched him while something large crashed down the slope breaking young trees. After grunting at him, the figure stood and loped away while the witness sprinted back to camp and stayed silent about the event.

The witness and a companion heard whistles from two directions, then a deep bass booming approach that stayed just beyond flashlight range. They retreated down the hill as another source joined from a side path. The witness says the sound was recorded.

The witness walked to a parked car and was followed by something moving loudly through debris that matched her pace. After getting into the car, something was thrown hard against the back. A rock was found at the base in the morning.

While walking back behind the main group at night, the witness and a companion heard a single howl from a ridgeline. Another researcher vocalized back. Another part of the group also reported hearing it.
Growl
The witness and a companion were talking at a campfire around midnight when grunting and a deep sound were heard. A very large rock crashed through branches and landed right behind the witness's chair. Review of audio later captured grunting, a step, and the throw.

The witness's boyfriend was night driving a Jeep when something came up the hill and crossed the road. He braked hard, got out to watch it cross a meadow, and it turned and growled. He returned shaken and the group later saw skid marks.
