Animal behaviour in Maine
The witness got lost from a school hiking group and spent the night in a small cave. Something repeatedly slapped his face from a hole above, and when he grabbed it he felt fur and a hand-like appendage with no paw. He hid in the back until searchers found him next morning and saw nothing in daylight.
Footsteps
The witness tripped over a deer skull with a snapped neck and saw several more, then felt something pacing beside him while leaving. When he stepped off trail to confront it, a branch was bent back and struck him in the head, knocking him out until midnight. He later recalled a hair-covered face with brow ridges and said officials scrubbed sign from the snow and threatened him.
Sasquatch sighting in Georgia
The witness was walking at first light along railroad tracks toward a creek bridge to deer hunt. About 250 yards away a giant dark ape-like figure came out of vegetation knuckle-walking, went up an embankment, briefly stood, then went down the other side. The witness left for his truck and did not hunt there again.
Vocalization near Vidalia, Georgia
The witness heard a loud moaning crying sound coming from a pond a couple hundred yards from his trailer. He grabbed a shotgun and walked over while it continued. When he arrived there was nothing there and the sound had stopped.
Sasquatch sighting in Florida
The witness was out at night with a friend and the friend's father when their dogs ran back terrified and would not leave the dog box. While driving out they saw high wide eyeshine and an outline that leapt from a tree. A crouched hairy shape then rose screaming and tore at trees, and the witness fired his shotgun before all three fled in the truck and never returned.
Footsteps near Enterprise, Alabama
The witness was alone at night after pulling a deer into the woods to gut it. He heard cracking and clean snapping of branches circling just out of sight about 20 yards away. He could see nothing in the thick dark until his father drove by and he ran to the truck.
Partial sighting in Alaska
The witness was playing with two other children in earthen foxholes behind the school in Alaska. He saw a black furry hand clenched like a fist peer in through an opening. The children fled immediately and the figure did not follow.
Sasquatch sighting in Virginia
A woman who worked at the nearby store told the owner she saw a bear grab a milk jug from the trash with its paw and walk off on two legs into the woods like a person. The witness thought it was probably not a bear.
Wood knock
The witness and his cousin hiked the Birch Knob trail to an overlook, heard a wood knock behind them, then after dark heard a huge thump to the left and a very deep gargling growl to the right. They left and heard twigs breaking above them all the way to the car.
Growl in Virginia
The family dog was terrified the first night by a deep growl and later refused to go behind the house. With his cousin near the pond the witness felt dread and found scattered deer ribs, legs, skull and later skin with other bones gone. On another morning he heard a deer screaming, found drag marks, blood on a fallen tree and a dead deer with head bent back, while his white shepherd had no blood on it.
Property disturbance in Virginia
Around the second home the witness found toy trucks moved from a lidded sandbox to the steps two mornings, footprints behind the barn, broken trees, newly piled sticks by the pond and a small teepee structure. Later the trampoline was shifted about nine feet back and seven feet sideways, a makeshift clothesline gutter was torn off, a rock was heard flying through trees in daylight, and brief strong skunk-like and dead-meat odors occurred.
Growl in Virginia
Hoping to catch the owl sound, the witness left a recorder between the kitchen screen and window overnight. He captured a growl he could not explain and remained torn between a Sasquatch explanation and disbelief because he had not seen it.
Door or window contact in Virginia
After the window incident the house was repeatedly smacked, cameras caught nothing and seemed avoided, and an access door was found open. One 5am morning the girlfriend heard window pecking then saw a big black arm pass the front-door window. The witness found piled weeds at the door and two muddy handprints at that bedroom window measuring about eight to nine inches long with slightly wider fingers.
Sasquatch sighting near Prestonsburg, Kentucky
Driving back from Michigan on the Mountain Parkway near Prestonsburg in fog, the tired witness saw a monkey-like creature run across the road on all fours at an angle behind the guardrail. Its head topped the guardrail by a few inches, looked grayish to white, and seemed to blend with the fog.

The witness's young daughter was playing outside and saw a deer run through the woods followed by a big hairy biped seen mostly from the shoulder down. She described huge legs, five to six inch long cinnamon-brown hair all over, walking on two legs. Her account has reportedly never changed.
Growl
The landlord told the witness her husband went outside to lock up his building and was growled at. He said it was not a bear and was a growl he had never heard before.
Footsteps
A couple weeks later the witness stepped onto the porch and heard very heavy running footsteps beside the house. About a week later his girlfriend heard the same running behind the house. He tested it by running in heavy work boots and says the unknown runner sounded hundreds of pounds heavier than him.
Unidentified sound
At his first home the witness repeatedly heard loud slams like logs or rocks hitting ground over about two weeks. On the last night he went to the yard edge with a spotlight and gun and heard something like a bulldozer coming down the hillside. It stopped at the wood line and he saw nothing, including no eyeshine.
Wood knock in Washington
A family group with friends hiked in to camp at a remote lake. After a joking tree knock received an answering knock, the night brought dog distress, stick-breaking sounds, and heavy bipedal footsteps passing the tents without disturbing food. The next day one camper felt watched while gathering firewood.
Rock throwing near Elby, Washington
Two friends camped near a river and went for late-night fishing with a lantern. Rocks were thrown at them from across the wide fast river, landing near them repeatedly. They returned to camp to find others in tents and later concluded no person could have thrown such heavy rocks that far.
