The witness joined a group of about eight on a three-night expedition in southeastern Oklahoma to let the beings come to them. The group heard grunting, whistling, chatter, footsteps and close tree-breaking, had pebbles and a rock thrown, and saw large upright black shadow figures with night vision and naked eyes. One figure was seen behind a truck and one coworker was startled by movement in brush, with no one seriously hurt.

The witness and a friend were camping overnight at Forlorn Lakes when they heard loud screams from one side of the lake answered by several others, lasting 20-30 minutes. The witness made a short phone recording while the dog acted frightened. The next morning they found elk tracks apparently at a run and a large footprint, then left early.

About two weeks after the woods incident, the witness's mother and a cousin were in the mobile home late at night watching television. While training at Fort A.P. Hill, the guest saw an outline in the tree line. His companion grabbed a weapon, approached briefly, then insisted they stay by the vehicle. They saw nothing further, and range staff later suggested it could have been SEAL Team personnel training there.

A Marine security coworker was patrolling the fence at night and saw what looked like three figures. He shouted thinking they were buddies, but they turned and walked toward him. He hid under a pine tree for hours and later accepted punishment rather than leave cover.

The guest's Special Forces friend said his 12-man team was called to hunt an aggressive animal near Fort Lewis. They tracked through the Mount Hood area, cornered one of several animals, shot it, and removed it by helicopter. He described it as enormous, muscular, human-featured, fast, and known to throw boulders and use sticks.

A woman and her five-year-old son had car trouble past the dam and tried to walk to town. Something big and hairy chased them. The woman was found hysterical on the roadside and the boy hid in a culvert, saying a monster tried to pull him out, leaving his lower legs and feet torn.

During a day and night visit the group found footprints in mud, heard deep yep sounds and monkey chatter keeping distance, saw primitive stick structures and stripped bones, and heard toddler-like cries by the river. At night they heard prolonged roars, whoops and screams, and saw a heat signature standing in a field that vanished when approached.

On two consecutive nights a prolonged up-and-down scream woke the guest in a fifth wheel while geese stayed silent and her partner could not be wakened the first night. The second night after screaming stopped she saw a shadow at head level by the trees less than two feet away. Her partner chased a huge black figure up his own trail but lost it when it went left through dense sticker bushes.

At age eleven the guest and two older girls returned to their plywood fort in false dawn to find the woods unnaturally quiet. Something large walked directly in front of the small opening in five loud bipedal steps, blocking the light, and crossed about ten yards over a creek. They hid then fled and never slept there again.

Late at night the father went to bed and became convinced something was beating walls, hitting windows and scratching and would come through the wall. The next morning the outside windowsill was gone and the ground looked gouged with rocks scattered in the grass.
