After dark they heard a loud splash, then a very loud wood knock, then another splash like a thrown rock. He waited until about ten o'clock, then trailed lung blood to the crash site where the body was gone with no further blood trail. A large hairy figure chasing the deer emerged on all fours, then stood bipedally near the car, looked around, and ran back into the woods. The woman calmly brought out caged live animals and set them on the porch. A second smaller figure crawled around the trailer on all fours, then stood, took the cages, and both left.
