About 1998 the witness was driving west with two companions when they saw cars swerving ahead. In the headlights they watched a large dark-haired biped take a very long step across the road, cross a canal and continue onto a golf course. The driver turned around to take a different route while the companions identified the figure as a bigfoot.

The witness's wife woke in their camp trailer around midnight to prolonged laughter-like vocalizations she first mistook for another camper before becoming frightened. The husband slept through the sounds and initially dismissed them as animals. Months later the wife heard alleged Bigfoot chatter on a television program and said it matched what she heard on Mt. Graham.

The witness rode a horse bareback along a fenced river bottom to meet two others. A tall, dark brown-haired biped stepped from behind a tree into full view and watched with a curious expression. As the witness galloped away along the river, the creature ran on two legs through the trees keeping pace before stopping as the witness turned toward home.

During a spring-break group camp, the teenage witness left his tent overnight to use the field edge. He heard footsteps, shone a large flashlight, and saw a tall hairy biped walking past about 40 feet away. It glanced toward him, then moved silently and quickly to the tree line and disappeared.

The witness was driving with a companion at night near a canal by South Mountain Park in Phoenix. A large black, burly-bodied creature crossed the road in front of their car, moving on all fours or dragging its front limbs. It looked toward them showing a face described as similar to a Sasquatch or orangutan, then disappeared into darkness.

They listened for about half an hour as the two sources called back and forth and shifted position, then retreated to their truck after hearing rocks trickle down the slope, hearing the sounds move north before dawn. In the morning the witness saw a trail crossing the campsite, and years later both the witness and the former spouse said the sounds matched a published recording labeled 'Scream.'

The witness and a companion were driving at night on a lightly traveled road between the Grand Canyon and Flagstaff when they saw a tall hair-covered biped walking on the shoulder. They stopped about 50 yards away and watched it turn to face the headlights, pause and look curious, then take a step toward the car. After the companion screamed it strode into the forest in a few strides, and the pair drove widely around the spot and left the area.

After noticing a fox ahead that repeatedly looked back, the witness looked behind and saw a tall, broad, hair-covered biped about 120 yards away walking down into a wash while looking toward the witness. The figure disappeared into the wash after about 5 to 8 seconds, and the witness continued the hunt without following or searching for tracks.

Two forestry workers finishing a pre-dawn spotted owl survey heard a loud, deep yell lasting about five seconds from a canyon below them. The sound echoed through the canyon and struck both as too deep and sustained to be human. They saw no animal and later wondered if the source was responding to their imitated owl calls.

The witness and a companion were driving slowly on a dirt lane through ponderosa pine forest at night when their headlights illuminated a tall hair-covered figure crossing from left to right in front of the car. The figure walked upright with a human-like gait and continued into the woods without looking at or reacting to the car. The witness estimated it at about seven feet tall and 400 pounds with camel-colored hair and a barrel chest.

The witness reports finding numerous human-like footprints of varying sizes after hiking a considerable distance from camp during a deer-hunting trip. The largest prints were described as very long and unusually deep compared to the witness's own boot impression. A relative who also saw the prints thought they were probably a hoax, while the witness doubted anyone could have faked many deep prints of different sizes that far out.

The witness was driving on a dirt road near Prescott at dusk when a large ape-like animal appeared moving parallel to the road just inside the tree line. The animal was described as tall, very muscular and reddish-brown with longer arm hair and little or no neck, and it never looked toward the car.

From the darkness they heard a loud terrible screaming mixed with roaring that continued on and off for about 15 minutes. No creature was seen. The witness later concluded the sound must have been a Bigfoot, noting it matched published recordings and local stories of sheep thefts.
