The rider felt suddenly hot and euphoric and began removing clothing despite cold wet weather until companions arriving and splashing through water broke the state. Later on the same ride the group found very large fresh human-like footprints without claws in untouched mud.

On about the fifth night whistling calls, heavy movement through brush, and a loud branch break approached camp. The witness watched through a night-vision monocular as a large silhouette crossed a road with a smooth gliding gait, and the group later found disturbed ground and footprints that were tracked for about a mile.

While the witness was at a truck, the witness noticed a dark head-and-shoulder shape repeatedly peeking from behind trees across the road in a derelict yard. After the witness waved, the shape began swaying fully into and out of the opening, and a next-day reenactment suggested it was about nine feet high.

The witness was hunting with an older hunting partner on ATVs north of the partner's house when the witness got off to check a soggy section of cut line. The witness noticed a line of large human-like footprints spaced far apart and followed them for 15 to 20 paces until they reached solid ground. The pair returned the next day and made casts of several prints.
