About a month to a month and a half after the Yosemite trip, the witness parked on a roadside in Sequoia and slept in the camper shell of a small truck. The truck was shaken side to side. Looking through the rear window, the witness saw a huge eight-foot primate-like creature holding the truck, which then squatted to look inside before walking across the road into the woods.

During a high-stakes meeting in a remote mountain hut in 2003, a senior soldier jokingly asked a local elder through an interpreter if he had seen a yeti. The elder replied with annoyance that he had seen the creature since childhood, that it stole livestock and frightened women, that locals shot at it, that it disappeared during the Russian war when aircraft appeared, and later returned.

He photographed it, then stepped aside and photographed a small 2.5 to 3-foot brown baby in the bushes looking toward the adult. The guest and his wife were staying at a leased cabin near Octavia and walking by a lake around sunset when they heard loud screaming or hollering from the river bottoms about a half-mile to a mile away. He recorded the sounds on a small Kodak camera, turning it on and off several times. Locals later told him there were no elk or moose in the area, only black bear and mountain lions.

After a multi-day ice storm, two younger subjects allegedly entered a family farm's goat and chicken enclosures. Several goats were killed by neck-twisting with carotid and femoral punctures and drained of blood, but no carcasses were carried away. The guest inferred the motive was iron and salt need and that young males raid while older animals avoid farms.

Alone on a riverbed the day after finding a very large track, the guest found a deer drag, smelled urine and deer, then startled a massive dark animal lying prone. A smaller animal walked away nearby while the large one crashed through trees, left deep turning prints and 23-inch tracks, then watched from cover about 40 feet away for over an hour while being videoed.

From a knob about a mile away, the researchers crested a ridge and looked toward a female in a small opening. She immediately grabbed a juvenile and walked away. The guest took a photo and interpreted the reaction as extreme shyness at great distance.

After dragging a dead calf to a field edge, the neighbor ran out of gas and saw one standing at the creek edge. It hollered so loudly he felt it in his chest. He ran for a tractor and returned to find nothing there.

Sticks and limbs were thrown at them on a tractor, and whistles answered post-driving. The property shows stripped bark, snapped and twisted trees, a trail-camera image and a footprint at a low-water crossing.

About a dozen cows were chased through two barbed-wire fences past the witness's house at night. His three dogs hid under the house and would not come out. The witness went outside with a shotgun, found dead quiet, felt hair stand up, and went back inside.

The witness and a friend returned to a vehicle after dark and it would not start. A softball-sized rock and then a stick were thrown over the vehicle, followed by snapping in the woods. Something on two feet paced them step-for-step to the gate as they left, and they fired shots before calling for a ride.

The witness was sitting alone overlooking bottoms in the evening. He heard a loud knock, then two more knocks, then another knock and a tree falling nearby without seeing the cause. He left the area for the day.

The couple hiked an overgrown middle trail where many deer, coyote and other animal tracks were visible. Near a small field they found one full bare-looking right footprint and a partial print showing only toes and ball with no heel or claws. They photographed the prints and continued on.

The younger son came from outside saying a face had appeared on the hill by the fence and then was gone. After the father returned from work the family inspected the spot and found a large foot-shaped impression in tall grass, an area of flattened grass behind the fence, and a plain trail leading up the hill into the woods.

The couple and their teenage son followed a game trail and found a canopy-like structure of stems and leaves with a lay area and several trees broken over seven feet high. On the way back they repeatedly heard something walking with them that stopped when they stopped. From a field below they had small rocks land near them several times and left as it got dark.
