As a child playing outside with a dog, the witness saw a large white hair-covered creature standing behind the dog pen staring. The witness froze briefly then ran terrified down the yard to a relative. When the relative looked, the creature was gone.
Hunters observe creature walking in the woods
In 1990 the witness and a companion set up in a field behind the home to hunt varmints after chickens had been killed, using a fawn distress call. While listening near dark they heard walking in the woodline about 150 meters away that sounded bipedal. After it got too dark to see, they stood up, shone a light toward the woodline and briefly glimpsed something stepping back, then heard sounds again as a deer ran very close past them.

The witness brought friends by car to the cornfield and walked with a friend atop lined hay bales toward the woods. They found something hunkered by the bales, shone a small light on it, and it stood up very tall and screamed. The witness fled, ran off the bales, severely broke an ankle, and required hospital surgery.

A week later the witness returned to the same woods with a relative and dogs. Footsteps followed them and stopped when they stopped, then something circled them whooping and making gibberish sounds while another answered from the right. Trees sounded like they were being ripped up and the dogs fled the area.

A friend had been feeding wild creatures until sent overseas, after which his grandfather continued feeding. When the grandfather was hospitalized, no one fed them for about a week. The witness was riding in a vehicle with two relatives after night fishing when a tall upright figure appeared in the high-beam headlights on a dirt road. The figure traversed the roadway quickly and ascended a steep roadside bank with little apparent effort. The witness watched for only a few seconds, while a relative also saw the figure as it went over the bank.

While driving slowly up Mount Walker in dense fog with two companions, a huge dark mass crossed the road 50-60 feet ahead from an uphill slope to a steep downhill drop. They stopped, got out, and looked for tracks. They could not identify what it was but felt it was too large for a bear.

The witness motored by airboat at night into an oak hammock to gig frogs and stopped for coffee. After hearing tearing vegetation, ground banging and a loud shrieking scream, large clods of mud were thrown at and onto the boat. Shining a headlamp, the witness saw a huge brown-haired biped about 25 to 30 feet away pumping its arms in an aggressive display, then started the boat and fled to the middle of a nearby lake until daylight and has avoided the spot since.

The witness and four companions camped overnight on a mountain ridge to celebrate finishing a music recording. Late at night they heard clear bipedal footsteps approaching up a steep slope, followed by breaking limbs and circling around their camp outside the firelight for over half an hour. They also heard loud exhaled huffs that frightened them. They abandoned camp and returned the next day for their gear.

Three people riding in a car at night saw a very tall, hair-covered biped standing at the roadside. As their car passed, the creature turned and walked into the woods on the same side of the road. The encounter was described as very brief and occurred in mixed woods.

Around 1990 the witness was called to a friend's rural property after livestock losses and a hog attack. At the hog pen the witness and others found large human-like footprints in the dirt. The figures remained mostly still, with only minor sounds, while the pair talked and then backed out with firearms ready without firing at the figures. One figure was later seen leaping from the roadside high into a tree. The witness returned the next day to recover gear, found extensive large tracks, followed fresh tracks, and encountered one individual at close range.
