After a bobcat approached then abruptly fled, the witness smelled a strong pungent odor and saw a reddish hairy figure lean from behind a large beech tree and stare without moving. A large hairy biped rushed down the hill on all fours, landed in the road and slid, causing the bear to flee. The biped then stood, stared, and bluff-charged twice with loud vocalizations until the witness fled on foot and was later picked up by drivers in a pickup.

The witness was sent to clean up his brother's campfire in a field behind the house. He heard a loud growl that he felt in his chest, then heard something crashing through the woods toward him. He dropped everything and ran to the house feeling it chase him on two feet, and the food was found scattered the next morning.

After his stepfather died, the witness returned to the family land in East Texas to look for trees where money and papers had been hidden. Near the area of a childhood sighting he smelled the same strong pungent odor and heard heavy, widely spaced footsteps moving through overgrown brush. He froze and backed away as the steps receded, feeling the impacts and hearing vegetation being broken aside, sensing other watchers but no aggression and feeling the creature remembered him.

The witness and a friend were sitting outside on a curb in a subdivision at night when they heard very loud, frightening screams. The screams occurred twice about ten minutes apart and lasted about a second each. Frightened and unable to identify the source, they stayed seated at first and then went back inside after the second scream.

Late at night the witness and a companion were driving north on Highway 70 when headlights revealed a large animal on all fours standing in the travel lane. The witness swerved into the other lane to avoid hitting it during a few seconds of viewing. The animal was described as horse-sized with dark medium-length fur, long legs, and a flat human-like face without a snout, lowering its head to peer into the passenger window as they passed.

The witness and a relative were lying in a tent at a forest camp at night when they heard a bipedal approach, a fast high-pitched whooping sound, and circling movement around the tent lasting much of the night. The presence at times breathed audibly next to the tent and ran off with heavy-sounding footsteps before returning quietly. In the morning they looked for tracks but found too much forest litter to see any.

The witness was fishing alone at night in the pond behind her house when she heard a huff-growl behind her and turned to see a figure standing and watching her. When the figure moved, she became frightened, dropped her fishing pole, and ran up the hill to the house. She states she never fished at night or alone again.
