He watched it walk upright at a fast, purposeful pace across the trail and into palmettos, then heard it moving away as birds and insects fell silent. He searched for tracks or hair but found none, photographing only the crossing location for scale.

The witness was walking a dog at the dark end of a subdivision backing to forest when the dog reacted to a large crouched figure nearby. The witness shouted warnings and shined a flashlight, seeing reflective eyeshine and a hair-covered, ape-like form. The figure then stood to great height and walked away behind trees, and the witness left the area with the dog.

The witness and a friend went to fish in western Palm Beach County and walked a built-up trail through swamp while hunters on a swamp buggy fired nearby. A large gray-haired biped leapt across the 20-foot trail in front of the witness, landed quietly, peered from behind a palm frond, then vanished. The pair found a 16 to 17-inch track in a ditch and another in an ant pile but did not see it again.

Around 1:55 a.m. the witness stepped outside to smoke and heard the chain-link fence rattle and brush breaking. Under a nearby security light she saw a large hairy creature straddling the fence; it turned, made eye contact, then swung its leg back over and dropped into the woods. She woke her daughter and both heard movement and smelled a foul odor, later finding the fence top bent and branches broken.

The witness was bicycling on a trail through swamp in the early afternoon when two dark brown figures crossed the trail about 200 yards ahead. The figures paused briefly to look toward the witness, then ran off into an area with no visible trail and a steep bank and quickly disappeared from sight. The witness thought they looked like Bigfoots but considered a hoax or soldiers as possible explanations, and noted a large military helicopter flew overhead just after.

The witness and his daughter were riding a four-wheeler through orange groves to watch pigs when they stopped to listen. They heard several loud noises likened to yelling or a panther cry, then both saw a large dark upright figure move quickly between tree rows. Frightened, they left quickly, and the witness later concluded it resembled a Sasquatch.

Late at night the witness was driving alone on a toll road toward the airport after slowing for a delayed flight and rain. About 10 feet from the roadside the witness saw a very large silver-grey coarse-haired figure with a very broad back and very wide shoulders moving very fast away from the road toward a fence, hunched or bent over. The witness stated it was unlike deer, turkey, hog, cow, bear or human commonly seen in the area.

On the ninth night of solo primitive camping, the witness was lying awake in a tent when a very loud thud sounded in front of the tent. Movement was then heard in palmettos beside the tent, followed by human-like whistles exchanged from opposite sides and a guttural growl from behind the tent. The witness stayed inside without looking out and found a snapped limb nearby the next morning before leaving camp early.

Two men were hog hunting at night in woods near a lake when they heard a loud deep chuffing sound given four times from several hundred yards away, followed by complete silence of other animals. About an hour later they heard the same sound much louder from about 50 yards away and heard something moving slowly westward along the treeline. They remained frightened and sat back-to-back for the rest of the night and later could not identify the sound.

Two occupants driving south on Highway 19 in the early morning reported seeing a tall brown human-shaped figure at the treeline that moved into the center of the road in front of them. Something in the adjacent woods approached to within about 20 yards, making heavy bipedal footsteps and loud thrashing in reeds and brush without becoming visible. The witness retreated to the car, repositioned it, and tried for about an hour to elicit further response, later hearing a growl and movement alongside and then away.

Over several nights in December the witness and their partner sat on their home lanai at night and heard a loud cry or scream, rock-clacking sounds, and stones or pebbles striking the house and lanai, and noticed a strange unknown odor for two days. No creature was seen. An investigator later visited the property, found a displaced rock, a single possible footprint, and nearby scat, and noted the property backs onto a power-line corridor.

The witness looked back and saw a large bipedal figure crossing the road as a car approached, then doubling back and jumping a fence. The witness rode quickly to the spot but the figure had vanished across an open field, with the distant tree line too far for anyone to have reached so quickly.

Two hunters sat in a blind when the woods went quiet and they heard crashing, bipedal footsteps, a loud crash and a deep howl. After waiting until dark, they left and walked toward their boat. When one turned around he saw eye shine several feet off the ground behind them, which then turned away.

Late at night the witness sat alone in a parked SUV before hog hunting when a large dark bipedal figure passed behind the vehicle, striking the trailer hitch hard enough to shake the truck. The witness observed it in a mirror as it moved away with long strides into adjacent woods. The witness remained in the vehicle for hours before continuing to hunt.

The witness was riding as a passenger north on I-75 the day after Christmas when traffic began moving after a jam. She looked to the right and noticed a large black hairy form about a football field away in a clearing between woods.
