The witness saw a large hairy humanoid with red eyes standing nearby making threatening displays, then it struck the ambulance hard enough to rock it. They stayed inside while multiple creatures vocalized around them until a supervisor arrived about 45 minutes later.

He turned on all emergency and spot lights, watched a tall stooped wide-shouldered figure walk behind the cruiser and out of the light, then drove out and returned to find it gone.
