The witness, a long-term resident of an apartment complex, reports repeatedly hearing a very loud, somewhat high-pitched howling or screaming sound from the heavily wooded area behind the complex on warm spring, summer and fall nights over many years. The sound was loud enough to be heard indoors and was described as suggesting an animal in pain or calling out. The witness initially had no explanation but after reading about Bigfoot wondered if the cries could have that source.
