The witness was driving south on Tin Top Road at night when he saw movement approaching the road. A bipedal figure about 100 feet away stumbled into the roadway, paused briefly, then ran at high speed into an overgrown field. The witness estimated the encounter lasted about five seconds before he continued home.

The witness was driving to a night shift and turned onto an unfamiliar county road to avoid a traffic stop. After reaching a dead end at a creek and turning around, the witness saw a large dark figure cross the road behind the vehicle in the rearview mirror. The witness and a young companion were driving slowly north on Bragg Road with only parking lights on to look for the local lights. A tall dark bipedal figure emerged from woods on the east side about 20 feet in front of the truck and walked slowly across the road. It paused to look toward the occupants, showing eyeshine in the parking lights, then stepped over the road grade into the forest while crunching sounds were heard as it walked away. The witness stopped briefly then left immediately, unsettled by the human-like appearance and size.

The witness was walking through riverside woods to check a trail camera when a loud, powerful yell came from about 100 yards away. The witness called back, then searched with a rifle scope and caught a brief glimpse of shaggy reddish-brown legs as the source fled through the trees. The witness was driving west on Highway 60 after crossing the Brazos River around 2:45 a.m. when a large dark shape on the roadside rose to a standing position and stepped or leapt into the darkness. The view lasted about two seconds at highway speed, revealing a very tall, thick bipedal figure that appeared dark with no discernible features. The witness, who said they had not previously believed in such beings, reported being shaken and convinced by what they saw.

The witness was driving with a young relative in the morning when a gorilla-like biped was seen on the left side of the road. It ran across the road in front of the car and climbed into a tree on the other side. The tree was then seen shaking violently, though the creature itself was not seen doing the shaking. The witness did not stop and later found no reports of an escaped gorilla.

On a Friday evening the witness was at home writing music when he heard a loud howling-hoot and noticed his dogs were agitated. He went outside and briefly saw a tall, hairy creature with glowing greenish-yellow eyes and large feet by the creek-side swing. The creature quickly ran south along the creek under a highway overpass and disappeared while both the witness and his wife heard the strange vocalization.

On the night of April 18, 2020 the witness was at home when a dog began barking persistently and a loud guttural growl was heard at the back door, also noticed by a cat. After waking her husband, who saw nothing from the back door, the witness called the dog from the front door and saw it react toward the back of the property. Looking from a guest-room window, she then watched a huge dark figure moving quickly across the neighbor's pasture to the northwest.

The witness described driving into the back entrance of his subdivision late at night on two occasions within the last month. Both times deer gathered by the road suddenly fled as he passed, and he saw in his rearview mirror a large brown biped come out of the adjacent forest, run a few steps toward his car, then turn away out of view. He reported being scared and said he could give no further detail, recalling no odor or sound during the road encounters.

Late at night the witness and companions stopped while driving remote dirt roads and the witness scanned a clearing with a night-vision monocular. The witness claims a large dark shape stood bipedally and moved with long smooth strides behind a mesquite tree, where it remained as an indistinct dark shape. No recording was made and none of the companions saw the figure.

The witness was riding with family toward Wichita Falls in late morning and looked out the vehicle window. They saw a tall, dark, fur-covered figure running bipedally from a hill into a valley. The figure disappeared into trees after a few seconds. The witness was the only occupant who saw it.

In spring 2016 after returning home from an evening walk near his home, the witness looked back across an open field toward the woods and saw the back of a tall, broad, hair-covered upright creature standing still about 150 yards away. After a few seconds it moved quickly into the woods. He later estimated it was over seven feet tall with no visible neck and a peaked, caramel-colored head and back.

They walked toward a beaten crossing area and heard very close low guttural sounds, then backed out together. The witness also describes finding a detailed multi-size trackway in sand and hearing monkey-like chatter and a scream-like holler that night.

The group found distinct five-toed tracks, heard an owl-call answered oddly, heard a warning-like howl and later chatter, and saw saplings broken at angles. While forward of the group at night the witness used thermal to see a large heat mass between trees that vanished, and shortly after others in the same vicinity were growled at.
Camper hears possible wood knock and distant reply in the Sam Houston National Forest
The witness was hammock camping with a companion in the forest before dawn. He heard a sharp close clack followed seconds later by a distant double-knock that he interpreted as a call and response. He heard no footsteps or other sounds, and his companion did not hear the knocks. Given the still conditions he said he could think of no other cause for the sounds.
Whoop in Texas (2016)
The witness returned to the same lake with a sibling in the spring. The sibling made a loud whoop as a joke in a secluded drainage. A similar whoop immediately answered back, after which they left the area.

The witness reported noticing dark spots near a freshwater pond visible from his property around sunset and viewing them with binoculars. He found what he was seeing difficult to comprehend. He said the sightings have continued to the present, including activity around his house recorded with night-vision cameras.

The witness's husband was hunting alone from an elevated stand on the evening of November 18, 2019. He heard a series of loud vocalizations, howls, knocks and gibberish-like sounds from dense brush, with a second individual answering from down a draw. After he shouted a warning and fired a shot toward advancing growls, two unseen creatures charged through the brush chasing him to the road, where they stopped as he fled to his truck.
