The witness was driving in daylight fog when he saw a large dark figure standing in the road ahead. As his car approached with headlights on, the figure crossed into a grassy ditch and then into the woods about 10 feet from the road. He slowed to 5 mph while passing but found no trail or driveway where it had gone.

The witness was driving south to check traps when he noticed a dark form in the road ahead and approached for a closer look. The form rose onto two legs, looked toward the vehicle, then took two strides west into the swamp and vanished without leaving sign or sound. Using a roadside curve sign for scale, the witness estimated its height at eight and a half to nine feet and described it as very black with long arms. He was shaken and no longer enters the woods unarmed.

The witness found two sets of barefoot tracks of different sizes crossing a four-foot-deep stretch of river. Neither witness obtained a visual, and they left without crossing the river to investigate.

On the morning of November 15, the witness was deer hunting when back-and-forth calling was heard lasting until daybreak. Around midnight in early fall, the witness was in bed watching TV at home when he heard loud howls through closed windows, followed by ape-like grunts. His horse became very nervous and distant dogs were barking. He woke his wife after the sounds stopped and they later compared the sounds to Bigfoot recordings online and found them very similar.

The witness and a companion were night fishing from a boat off a wooded shoreline when large rocks began landing in the water near their lures. Three rocks landed progressively closer to the boat, the last about 10 yards away, after the pair heard movement on the ridge above the shore. Unable to see anyone on the shoreline, the pair left the lake and returned to their cabin without further incident.

At a remote camp in late July 2013, several children were playing outside and knocking on trees. The daughter ran inside saying she had seen a tall brown biped that walked, looked at her, then dropped to all fours and ran off. A parent did not see the creature but said the daughter was adamant and visibly shaken.
