Federal law enforcement agent describes possible snow tracks on private land adjacent to Pakamansett River @ 10 miles from Hockomock Swamp (w/ Photos)
The witness and relatives reported finding two sets of large four-toed footprints in snow that crossed residential yards. One trackway led to a garbage can where bags had been pulled out and torn open, then continued to a neighboring driveway and toward woods and grass. Photographs were taken with a shoe for scale, showing deep impressions larger than the shoe. No creature was seen, and no unusual sounds or odors were noted the prior night.
Sundown sighting by motorists near Rhode Island state border
The driver was traveling north with a companion when a tall, dark-haired bipedal figure was seen on the grass near the tree line. The figure walked parallel to the woods and then turned into the trees, disappearing after several seconds. The driver slowed and both occupants stared into the woods, with the companion thinking dark movement was visible among the trees.
Vocalization in Massachusetts (2008)
An investigative group went to Asanet Ledge in Freetown State Forest to try to capture a Pukwudgie. While packing up, the atmosphere changed and the medium underwent a violent apparent possession with inhuman noises. As the group restrained and calmed her, multiple lights appeared and disappeared in the surrounding woods.
Possible nighttime sighting while driving over a bridge near Charlemont
The witness claims that while driving to work late at night in light rain, he saw a tall hair-covered figure standing motionless behind a guardrail near a bridge. He turned around to look again, but it was gone. He states he drives the route regularly and was certain the figure did not belong there.
Cryptid sighting near Dartmouth, Massachusetts (2006)
The witness was riding a quad alone on a straight power-line trail on a warm day. A man in a blue tracksuit and sunglasses came out of the woods and jumped straight up onto a tall rock without bending his knees, landing in a frog-like crouch with his head bobbing. Startled, the witness turned around and rode back to the truck, seeing the figure still perched on the rock as he left.
Unrecognized wailing heard near Scituate
The witness was walking a dog outside in the early morning when coyotes were heard howling at a distance. Shortly after the coyotes stopped, a loud wailing sound began coming from nearby woods and continued until about 5:30 AM. The witness described the sound as non-human, unrecognized, chilling and depressing, and reported no visual of its source.
Night fisherman has possible encounter at the Cobble Mountain Reservoir
The witness was fishing alone by low water late at night when heavy footsteps approached through brush. The witness saw eyeshine and a dark shoulder-like silhouette and then heard a loud high-pitched shrieking howl. Frightened, the witness abandoned fishing gear and ran back to the car.
Sasquatch sighting in Massachusetts (2000)
A report filed in 2000 described a Bigfoot-type creature at Cobble Mountain Reservoir. It was consistently described as over seven feet tall with broad shoulders and an upright primate form. Some accounts gave it glowing red eyes and others glowing white eyes.

The witness was sitting on a house porch late at night with several housemates. After hearing a tree crash in the nearby woods, they heard an extremely loud guttural roar from just inside the treeline. The group was stunned and quickly went inside without speaking.
Memory told of seeing three large bipeds jogging together in the woods near Rowley
As children searching for a trail to a nearby plaza, the witness and a friend heard a noise and saw three tan-colored, unclothed, upright figures jogging in single file on a ridge above them. The figures were larger than a very large man and moved away at moderate speed during an encounter lasting about 20 seconds. The boys then left the woods quickly and returned to the friend's house.
Cryptid sighting near Rainham, Massachusetts (1990)
After finishing a late shift, a man walked his large dog on a different route near power lines to a road lit by a streetlight. The dog trembled as a high-pitched voice repeatedly said I want you. A small hairy erect being stepped into the light, beckoned, and the man and dog quickly left.
Creature seen moving stones and small pieces of wood
The witness was hiking alone on a wooded mountain trail in summer when they noticed a moving, fur-covered animal about 100 yards ahead. Using binoculars and moving closer downwind, they watched it forage, move stones and wood, and stack rocks, noting its tall massive body, reddish fur, long arms, large human-like hands, and dark human-like face. The animal eventually moved back into the forest and the frightened witness ran back to the trail.

The witness was driving down the mountain to work in the pre-dawn dark when she saw widely spaced red eyes on a hill. She stopped and watched a large hairy biped come down sideways into her headlights. It experienced a loss of time moving to her windshield, communicated reassurance without speaking, then crossed the road through saplings and a creek into the woods.
Scream in Massachusetts (1982)
The witness and a companion were sitting by a fire with a tent behind them when they heard a distant loud scream. Something then rushed down the cart road at high speed, braked, and screamed so loudly it was felt through the body. The witness fired a shotgun blast through his own tent, then they fled on foot hearing it pace them. Later that night at home they heard the same scream on a movie and the companion left upset.
Two witnesses observe creature on edge of forest
Two coworkers claimed to see a tall, dark, hair-covered biped accompanied by a black dog at a garden center entrance in Mashpee in the fall of 1980 or 1981 between 2 and 3 a.m. They reported extreme shock and drove away at high speed. The area was described as adjacent to the largest forest tract on Cape Cod near an Army training base.

Four campers at October Mountain heard rustling in the bushes for about two hours and felt it was not normal animal behavior. They investigated and saw a tall broad-shouldered creature. They then fled the area.
Possible vocalizations heard by residents in the "Bridgewater Triangle"
In July 1979 the witness reports hearing very loud howling and screaming approaching through dense woods behind the house on three consecutive nights. Each episode involved repeated 20-30 second vocalizations with loud crashing through brush, while other night sounds stopped. On the third night the witness turned on roof floodlights when the source was behind the house; the sound stopped briefly then crashed away quickly in the opposite direction. The witness did not see the source and reports hearing nothing similar after 1979.
Essex County, April 1978, Encounter with Creature
The reporter and three companions spent about half an hour on an observation tower, where the reporter heard loud clicking and short high-pitched screams and noticed an absence of birds. While driving out of the refuge minutes later, the reporter and the front-seat companion watched a huge, very wide, all-black upright figure cross the wide road in about three steps and disappear into dense brush. The companions in the back seat did not see it, and a brief stop found only a disturbed path through the brush where it had entered.

In December 1977 the witness and a companion were riding a snowmobile on a fire road near a swamp to a cabin. When they turned the sled around, the witness saw a large dark hair-covered biped cross the road in front of them in about two steps, swinging its arms. The creature looked at them, then quickened its pace into the woods.
Cryptid sighting near Dover, Massachusetts (1970)
A driver on a road in Dover noticed a small hairless being with large glowing eyes and long spindly fingers near a stone wall. The driver watched it for several seconds while driving past. The witness later drew what was seen.
