Forest Service surveyor finds over 20 large foot prints along a forest service road
The witness stopped after noticing large footprints on the side of a road and found over 20 tracks that entered the woods, crossed the road, and continued into the woods. The tracks had five toes, were larger than the witness's size-12 boot, and sank deeper than the witness's boot print. Deer tracks and deer hair were also present around the tracks. The witness left to get a camera and returned to take five Polaroid photos of the tracks.

The guest was driving back toward Dallas with two companions late at night when headlights revealed a tall upright hair-covered figure walking just off the road. The figure had its back to the car and was moving. The witness could not explain it as a known animal and later investigated similar reports.

The witness stopped his boat along Black Bayou and approached a levee to check a pond for ducks. From behind a tree he watched a shaggy bipedal creature walk toward him along the levee, closing from about 200 yards to about 100 yards. The creature paused and looked toward his hiding spot, then ran over the levee into dense woods, covering distance much faster than the witness could while running to the levee top for another look.

In 1985 the witness stood in a large backyard bordering pine forest late in the evening to look for a comet when an extremely loud scream came from the forest edge. While running toward the house the witness saw a very large upright creature standing in shadows at the tree line that seemed to move after the witness slipped. The witness ran inside to report it to a relative and returned the next day to sit in the branch level with where the creature's head had been.

The witness, then about seven and alone, went to play in the woods behind the house and climbed through a ditch draining into a creek. On climbing out, the witness saw a reddish-brown figure standing motionless and staring from a bamboo thicket. The witness slowly backed away without turning and then ran from the woods.

After calming down elsewhere, he drove back, noticed paired trails in dew leading into oak woods, and followed them to a tree where a tall hair-covered biped stepped out. The two stared at each other, the creature appeared amused then agitated, building to a vocal display and urinating. Believing he was about to be killed, the witness fired a handgun into its chest at close range; the creature bled from the wound and mouth, stood, and climbed down a bluff toward water, after which the witness left and later found the road closed.

The witness, then 18, had gone fishing at dawn near a lake and heard an unusually deep groan-growl from across the road. After driving away to calm down, he returned, parked, armed himself with a large-caliber pistol, and followed disturbed dew trails into oak woods. About six feet from an oak tree a tall hair-covered biped stepped out, exchanged prolonged looks, then appeared to work itself into an agitated vocalizing state while urinating. The witness fired at close range into its chest, saw heavy bleeding from the wound and mouth, and watched it clutch its chest, stand, and disappear over a bluff toward the water.

The witness and a relative were riding a minibike through a new subdivision when they noticed an upright, black, hairy figure about 500 yards away moving toward them on the road. After backtracking briefly they looked back and saw it approaching faster in the middle of the road, then fled on the minibike without looking back and kept the incident to themselves for years.

The witness arrived late for an evening deer hunt and climbed a stand. A doe bedded under the stand, then a tall black creature jumped about 20 feet between trees and stared with intense eye contact. After he aimed his scoped rifle it growled, beat a tree, exchanged whistles with another unseen mover, and he fled half a mile to his truck. He fired a warning shot, drove away as a hand reached for the tailgate, and saw a second creature in the mirror.

The witness had been hunting with a relative and became lost for most of the day. While walking along an old road bed in the afternoon, the witness heard a noise and saw a tall, thin-haired bipedal creature about 50 feet ahead. The creature stood and looked at the witness for a few seconds, then turned and walked back into the woods, glancing back once. The witness then fled and made it out of the woods about an hour later.

They went to the back door and watched a large black hairy figure step over a chain-link fence and walk into the woods. While hunting with a dog in the late afternoon, the witness felt watched. The dog ran into a thicket and barked, then a loud scream was heard over the barking followed by snapping branches, and the dog fled home. The witness then saw a tall dark outline standing in the brush about 25 yards away that seemed to start moving toward him, so he ran home and found the dog hiding.

Three children exploring deep woods came to a wide stream and saw two hair-covered figures crouched on the opposite bank drinking. The figures stared at the children for about 30 seconds, then one made a hand motion and both turned and ran into the woods. The children ran the opposite way until out of the woods.

Two hunters walking toward a river heard a splash and saw a dark, muscular, hairy creature with its back to them. The creature pulled a cypress stump from the mud, threw it into the river, then turned to look at them and walked briskly away along the riverbank. The men then found large human-like footprints at the spot where it had stood.

A group of youths watching cattle from a hill saw the herd become anxious and flee a corner of the field. They went to the fencerow to investigate and found reddish hair on barbed wire and a small pine twisted and knocked over high up. After hearing movement, two of them saw a face with gray-white eyes and reddish hair about seven feet up near the broken tree and watched it for about two minutes before fleeing.

The witness and their mother were inside their lakefront home near dusk when outdoor sounds went silent and their tethered dog howled and rushed inside to hide. Both then heard a loud non-human scream described as between a woman and a cougar, followed by loud splashing as something large moved through the water along the lake. After about five minutes normal swamp sounds resumed, suggesting whatever made the sounds continued down the lake.

The witness was walking and playing in a dense wooded area as a young child. A tall bipedal figure covered head to toe in dark hair approached and then ran toward the witness at a steady pace through brush and trees. The witness fled the woods to a nearby house and did not see what the figure did afterward.

The guest and his friend went behind a pond to flank others during a nighttime bottle-rocket war. They heard loud raspy heavy breathing and saw a tall hairy figure approach on two legs. The guest shone a flashlight on its torso and yellow eyeshine before it raised a large hand to block the light, and both boys fled screaming.
