The witness was stopped in a vehicle for bridge construction when they saw a tall dark figure walking in the treeline beside railroad tracks. The figure continued walking for an extended period before disappearing into thicker growth. The witness estimated its height at 7 to 8 feet and described it as dark-colored and thin to muscular.

The witness was driving on Dupont road toward Main Street around late morning when a tall, thin, greyish-tan figure crossed the road about 30 yards ahead with long strides. The witness could not see the face and described the encounter as difficult to accept as a non-believer.

They took photos and video and tried to follow the trail until it ended where there was no snow. They did not see the maker of the prints. A follow-up phone call recorded estimates of 18 inches long by 8 inches wide with five toes and short steps.

The figure appeared to be walking away into the trees showing its back, and when the witness stopped the headlights had moved past it so nothing could be seen. The witness then left the area alone.

The witness was deer hunting from a stand in a state park in Shelby County, Illinois, when they reported seeing a tall dark figure about 60-70 yards away in the late afternoon. The figure was described as about 8 feet tall with blackish coloring, broad shoulders, long arms and a crowned-shaped head, walking away with its face not visible. The witness took cell-phone photos that lacked detail and later noticed twisted and broken-off trees in the area.

Two people driving home at night saw an upright, muscular animal beside the road in their high-beam headlights. As they passed, it moved away from the roadside and walked down into a large ditch toward a house. The witnesses described it as about seven feet tall with long, scraggly brown hair and said they could not see its face. They were frightened and did not go back to look for tracks.

The witness was driving west at dusk with a companion when an animal crossed the road about 15 yards ahead. The witness described a very dark, long-haired animal moving on all fours with an awkward gait, higher rear end, flat face and round head. The companion did not see it, and the pair could not relocate it after turning around.

The animal reportedly kicked a back leg, turned to look at the witness, and remained standing. A bow hunter walking into public land heard a branch snap and saw a small gray-brown upright animal about 78 yards away. The animal stood on two legs but dropped very low when the wind shifted, then disappeared when the witness looked again from behind a tree. The witness interpreted it as a juvenile Bigfoot.

The witness was walking a dog on a trail at Beall Woods State Park when the dog stopped and stared into a large ravine. The witness watched an entity at the bottom for about thirty seconds before it moved and turned toward them, then took two steps forward as the witness backed away. After the dog barked forcefully the entity stepped back, and the witness left while hearing it climb out of the ravine and move through the woods.
Motorcyclist has daylight sighting south of Kellerville
The witness was riding on a motorcycle with her husband when she noticed a tall, hair-covered figure standing motionless beside the road. She observed its side view clearly as they passed at 40-45 mph, noting its muscular build, reddish-brown body hair, and grey-white face. When they returned about 20 minutes later, the figure was gone.
