While staying back at a cabin during a scout camping trip, the witness heard a very loud wood crack like a branch breaking or tree falling. There was no wind and no birds or small animal sounds before or after, which struck the witness as unusual.

While driving on a back road by a creek, the witness noticed a line of large impressions crossing a lawn and driveway to the road. The witness stopped, measured the impressions and stride distances, tried to rule out small animals, and left without taking photos to avoid trespass concerns.

On a return visit the witness found a branch high off the ground that was snapped, twisted and pulled with a fresh clean break and no debris below. The witness measured the height with a child standing underneath for scale and also noted woven triangular tree formations in the same wooded area.

The witness kayaked into a remote river area in the Adirondacks to fish and camp alone. On two consecutive nights he heard loud rapid tree knocks followed by prolonged crashing, pacing and movement around his tent. On the second night the activity escalated and he heard powerful lion-like roars and screams from about 50 feet away that left him terrified. In the morning he found a large human-like footprint about 15 inches long near his kayak and left the area.

The witness heard on a scanner that a conservation officer reported hitting an animal running on two legs. He and his father drove toward the location to check for a taggable animal but were turned around at a roadblock. From a distance they saw a van, a state trooper and another vehicle.

The witness's father was in the tree stand, then climbed down, smelled something dead and felt watched. He was chased out of the woods by something he could not identify. He later told TV investigators who called it a level two or three sighting.

The witness went to check his father's hunting stand and found it ripped off the tree and twisted by the fence. He smelled rotting flesh, got knocks in response to his knock, and heard his whistle mimicked. Returning to his ATV he found it flipped over with a partial print nearby, then had rocks of increasing size thrown at him as he fled.

The family reports years of disturbances in the farmhouse including doorbell and knocks with no one there, loud bangs upstairs, claw-like footsteps down stairs, and a howl from upstairs. Witnesses also describe solid-looking figures including a man at the foot of a bed holding a hat with no head, a sulfur-smelling man from a closet, and hairy legs entering a bedroom, plus moved objects such as truck doors, a broken statue, a sliding piano bench and chair during a blessing.

A tree by the well in front of the house would glow blue or red and was seen by the family. On a winter night the father was woken by rocks hitting the roof, saw the light, found no tire tracks in fresh snow, drove to the plow turnaround, and watched the light move down the hill and vanish. The teller says the lights were seen repeatedly and only ever lit that tree.

The witness and the same young relative were carrying camping gear near a hayfield at sunset and noticed a dark figure deep in the field. Through weak binoculars it looked broad-shouldered and massive, sitting or crouching with its rear low, and it turned to show head and shoulders and walked with a swaying stagger. They went inside to get adults, and when the adults came out it was gone.

The witness and a young relative had built a makeshift fort in a circle of pine trees and were carrying materials to heat rocks. They looked up and saw a gorilla-like face looking in through an opening about eight feet up. They ran to the house, grabbed knives, returned to look, and it was gone.

An acquaintance of the witness called about a year later to report a similar event while turkey hunting near her home. She heard a loud startling noise and briefly saw a black shape flash in front of her. She described the same inability to discern head, tail, or legs.

A school friend later told the witness about riding bicycles with others over a mountain toward town at night. The group saw a very large figure drop about seven feet from a roadside stone wall, land on one foot and spring off the same foot across the road into the woods. The friend wondered how any person could move that way without gear in the dark.

On a sunny daytime the witness came around the house toward the sloping front yard leading to pines. A loud crash was heard as if something large had leapt into a stacked brush pile. The witness paused and thought sunlight glinted on hair within the pile, but the pile then remained completely still and the witness walked away.

Later while living in the same house, the witness lay in bed on a summer night with windows open. A strange vocalization was heard that resembled a deer call blended with a peacock-like cry but sounded wrong and voiced in an unnatural way. The sound caused a strong fear response.

As a small child in bed near a window, the witness saw two balloon-like lights come over the fence into the backyard and was frightened enough to hide in the closet. He also recalls a spinning, saucer-like object with multiple lights flying past his parents' house, which he distinguishes from ordinary airplanes.
