As teenagers the witness and friends camped and hiked up a reputedly haunted mountain at night to look for a cabin. They were paralleled on both sides, heard whoops and powerful wood knocks and branches being ripped, then a large tree was pushed over close to them and they fled. The running camcorder captured the sounds and briefly illuminated two large almond-shaped red eyes that narrowed and turned away before the tree fell.

The witness and a companion camped separately in the North Georgia mountains after spilling bacon grease near a creek. At night the companion reported heavy footsteps, a large outline at the treeline, and large hairy bodies passing the tent while the tent was shaken violently. In the morning they found concentrated large footprints at the grease spill and the witness's own camp trashed.

Over several weeks of treatment work the crew found survey ribbons repeatedly torn off and scattered, then piled in the clearing, and later found treated trees pushed over and drill bits bent. At dusk while returning home, the witness and a friend heard dogs barking behind the house and went to look. They saw a slow grayish animal on all fours moving along a fence line. It had a small round head and moved like a sloth, frightening them away.

The witness's wife drove to a stop sign near home at night and saw a tall figure like a man in a hoodie standing in the middle of the four-lane road under a streetlight. She looked left and right again and saw it move on two feet into a deep ditch on her side in one or two steps. She returned home pale and shaken, the husband later paced the distance and heard from a neighbor that garden tomatoes disappeared the same night.

The witness was driving on a familiar back road when he saw a figure standing on the left he first took for a person at a mailbox. The figure turned and crossed the two-lane highway in three steps and disappeared on the right. He slowed, confirmed there were no mailboxes or people nearby, later revisited the spot and estimated the figure at about seven and a half feet with bright brown hair and a runner's build.

Years after the original case the guest and a small research group followed the same creek and found another set of submerged tracks with a 72-inch stride, estimated to mean a very tall individual. On the same trip that night the group heard a growl that seemed to come from the middle of their campfire area. They looked but saw nothing.
