A coworker who lives in the same town was driving behind the witness at night and saw a brown hairy thing standing roadside. It lunged to the center, the truck struck its rear, and it went over the guardrail. The driver saw a hunk of hide with hair, heard a threatening voice in his head warning not to pick it up, and left. The hide was gone the next morning.

A reddish-brown muscular creature darted from a cove, leapt about 12 to 15 feet, looked back with a surprised expression, then ran down the shallow creek without touching stones. The witness noticed several green trees snapped or pushed over near the house over about a year. One small tree used for target practice was snapped about six and a half feet up, a larger cherry tree was pushed over, and another small tree blocked a trail. On one night the son heard the dog react and trees cracking as the witness walked home, but nothing was seen.

The night after Christmas the witness watched from a gas well across the valley as dozens of small pin lights moved along the ridge and dropped into the valley. Later from the truck near the first sighting area he watched a beach-ball-size bluish light and then a basketball-size yellow-orange light move intelligently six to ten feet off the ground around trees, pause at the ravine edge, and drop over, casting almost no light despite brightness. Companions asleep in the truck did not see them.

On another weekend the witness was leaning back on a four-wheeler with a rifle across his lap near the ravine edge when he heard close rock clacking ahead. Then from about fifty feet behind him in the forest came an extremely loud escalating bark-growl-roar that shook the vehicle and his body. A younger companion walking the ravine edge within fifty yards reportedly did not hear it at all.

On another weekend on opening morning of rifle season, the witness was in a tree stand near the first encounter spot at false dawn feeling emotional about a friend. He heard a very close rapid tree knock like an alarm, close enough that he felt he should see the source, but blurred vision prevented seeing anything.

After the initial encounter the witnesses explored a hidden bench on the hillside and found what they described as clear tree structures, including a three to four inch sapling wrapped and bent around another tree with broken branches and sticks pushed in. They felt it could not be natural and required hands and thought.

On returning the next weekend, the witnesses found a large rotten log about 12-14 feet long wedged three feet off the ground between two trees across the only driven part of the driveway like a gate. No stump or treetop was found nearby, and it was too heavy to lift with a tractor loader, so the farmer cut it out. They felt it had been placed.

The guest camped several days alone with his dog, noticing hairy scat, twisted saplings forming a gate, and feeling watched. On the third night the forest went silent, footsteps approached, loud breathing and an ape-like vocalization occurred outside the tent, followed by exchanged fake owl sounds and a spinning yin-yang light with a brief vision inside the tent. In the morning disturbed dog food was attributed to a raccoon.

The guest described driving home on Long Island and stopping at a deli off Comac Road with tractor-trailers blocking his view. As he accelerated to pull onto the road he felt an unseen hand slap his leg onto the brake pedal. At that moment a speeding car tore off the front of his small car instead of striking the driver's door broadside, which he believes saved his life.

The guest's son woke the guest to listen to a loud high-pitched long vocalization that agitated a distant dog and then silenced a nearby dog. The next day the two followed the direction of the sound and found a large barefoot-like track and a smaller juvenile-like track in ice on a deer trail.

Two troopers driving back toward town in the early morning saw a huge hairy slumped creature cross the road in front of them. They stopped with lights on and watched it cross a field, go through cattails and up a bank toward the lake direction.
