After a family trip, other members heard howls and the family later saw large dark figures moving fast on the ridge and trail with trees swaying. Approaching the sound he heard a strange higher-pitched vocalization, retreated while calling his brother, then ran home. The guest took his family camping including young children and a puppy. After being harassed by wild horses on a walk, they heard a growl near the tent at night and saw crouching yellow eyes, then after going to bed heard repeated hits on the same spot of the tent roof and his wife heard stick-banging while packing, prompting a nighttime departure.
