The witness was tending a fire while his son swam in the river when he repeatedly saw bipedal legs moving through foliage on the far bank getting closer. He called his son out, heard snaps and a whoop, and later saw the legs taking big strides on the ridge. They waited by the fire until it went quiet.
Sasquatch sighting in Florida
The witness and several friends camped on family land in South Florida near the national park. At night they heard hisses, tree knocks and whoops, saw strange lights, then saw a group of large hairy bipeds that threw rocks, injured a friend, threw a large dog, and chased the group as they fled on ATVs. The next day the camp was found destroyed and the dog was found dead.

Two people were outside a shelter in the Sierras fixing dinner at dusk. They heard pounding, limb breaking and whooping that moved closer, which previously had only happened when they were inside. One of them yelled back mimicking the sounds.

The guest and his girlfriend were sitting outside a cave at dusk in October. They heard a loud gorilla-like sound from across the river. After the guest struck a tree with a log, his girlfriend heard something running uphill through leaves making repeated whoop sounds.

The officer was parked beside an orchard doing paperwork when he heard three whoop-like vocalizations. About five minutes later he heard three more whoops farther along the orchard. He initially dismissed the sounds.
Whoop in Florida
The witness set out alone on a multi-day hike through swamp trail and camped overnight in a hammock. During the night the camp was surrounded by unseen figures making vocalizations, knocks and walking sounds, and a food bag was knocked down. The next day the witness found large tracks, then encountered large dark hairy figures on and near the trail, one of which followed closely. The witness fled in panic to a highway rest stop and required medical care, reporting lasting distress and nightmares.
Tracks near Eureka Springs, Arkansas
After moving to a remote wooded property, the family found a very clear large human-like footprint with toes that was photographed with a tape measure. On separate occasions the child experienced a rock thrown past him near a creek, faint whooping, small trees moving together, a high scream-like whoop followed by a tree being pushed over, and the adults heard trees breaking and splashing into a pond. Dogs that normally chase sounds fled back to the house during these events.
Footsteps near Sweet Home, Oregon
The witness was scouting remote mountain roads for fishing access when he found a newly placed stacked rock pile blocking the road. After stopping to inspect it, he heard something charge down the steep slope toward him and stop when he drew his pistol, then parallel him back to his vehicle unseen. He returned later with a hunting partner and heard coordinated whoops from multiple positions, and a few days later with a larger group found extensive tree damage, possible structures, and three sizes of bare human-like tracks.
Whoop in Georgia
As teenagers the witness and friends camped and hiked up a reputedly haunted mountain at night to look for a cabin. They were paralleled on both sides, heard whoops and powerful wood knocks and branches being ripped, then a large tree was pushed over close to them and they fled. The running camcorder captured the sounds and briefly illuminated two large almond-shaped red eyes that narrowed and turned away before the tree fell.
Whoop near Easton, Washington
On a second trip to the same creek-bed camp, the witness went to bed while three companions stayed up singing loudly. Shortly after they finished, whoops were heard from the treeline across the creek. The area was also said to have prior rock-throwing incidents.

The witness and a companion were hunting in a remote hard-to-reach area and gave whoops. They received a loud distinct whistle reply and later heard tree knocks. A distant dog barking and two distant whoops were captured on a recorder.

Friends on an extended hunting and camping trip in the Puget Sound area heard unusual whoops and howling. They were experienced hunters who did not recognize the sounds. No visual encounter was claimed.

The witness was sitting outside the off-grid cabin at night when an extremely loud whoop-like yell came from a short distance away. The sound was described as a cross between a person and an animal. The witness went back inside and heard nothing further from indoors.

While playing a baby-crying recording from a phone near a thermal tent, the group began hearing whoops at a distance that continued for about 40 minutes and seemed to move closer and change position and pattern. A loud crash in brush was also heard. When the phone died and the sound stopped, everything went silent.

The witness's grandfather said something whoops in the mountains around his hunting cabins and will whoop back when he whoops at it. The grandfather also reported objects being moved around. The witness never heard it while staying there.

While on a group hunting trip in the mountains, the witness heard whoops in the early morning. In the morning a nearby camp said their tent had been pelted with rocks around 1 a.m. and wondered if the witness group had done it. The teller noted many things can make such sounds.
Wood knock near Linsdale, Tennessee
On the last night out, the pair sat back-to-back on a man-made ridge and made knocks, howls and other calls. Responses approached, then stopped, followed by heavy bipedal steps and rocks thrown from the front on both sides. They threw rocks back for many minutes until a rock came from the direction they had entered, making the guest conclude they were surrounded.

While grilling on the porch after dark, the witness and others heard grunts, growls and whooping from the thicket. He saw dark silhouettes of three figures moving between bramble patches about 60-70 feet away. The group went inside afterward.
Chatter in Ohio
Early in the season on a new hunting lease the witness heard distant talking that could not be made out. A few days later both the witness and his brother heard the same talking, described as gibberish between two sources. Over the following weeks they heard additional talking, a whoop and rock clacking sounds that could not be identified.
