About ten feet from the edge it stopped, made a huffing sound like heavy breathing and a grunt described as like a person with a speech impediment, then rapidly tore away through the corn. The friend extinguished his cigarette and was frightened.

The witness joined a group of about eight on a three-night expedition in southeastern Oklahoma to let the beings come to them. The group heard grunting, whistling, chatter, footsteps and close tree-breaking, had pebbles and a rock thrown, and saw large upright black shadow figures with night vision and naked eyes. One figure was seen behind a truck and one coworker was startled by movement in brush, with no one seriously hurt.
Scream in Washington
The witness and a friend were camping overnight at Forlorn Lakes when they heard loud screams from one side of the lake answered by several others, lasting 20-30 minutes. The witness made a short phone recording while the dog acted frightened. The next morning they found elk tracks apparently at a run and a large footprint, then left early.

A lost Marine sniper student in a ghillie suit wandered near FBI cadets doing night exercises. The cadets saw a figure emerge, grunt, and return to the woods and reported a small Bigfoot. The next morning instructors realized the figure was the missing student.

During a day and night visit the group found footprints in mud, heard deep yep sounds and monkey chatter keeping distance, saw primitive stick structures and stripped bones, and heard toddler-like cries by the river. At night they heard prolonged roars, whoops and screams, and saw a heat signature standing in a field that vanished when approached.

At age 15 the guest was fishing alone at a creek near his father's house when he heard whoops and saw a large hairy figure behind a sycamore. He confronted it with a .22 rifle, and after it growled and roared he shot it in the throat, then in the hand, then multiple times in the chest as it screamed, broke saplings, and ran straight through a barbed-wire fence across a hay meadow. Later that day his father found broken trees, blood and hair on the sycamore, and blood and hair on the broken fence wires.

While playing recordings outside on a laptop, the group heard live howls apparently in reply and pets became agitated.

Two seasons before the main encounter, the witness got lost after dark in rainy conditions and followed a creek bed to exit. He walked close to unseen animals that scattered with unusual grunts, then heard what sounded like several two-legged walkers flanking him on both banks before they stopped behind him. At the time he told others it was hogs, but later concluded it was a group of creatures watching him.

The host retold an account from a hunter in a remote part of the national forest. Around five in the morning the hunter heard what sounded like children laughing and playing in an area inaccessible without a high-clearance vehicle. The host noted the location made the sounds inexplicable.

The witness entered the woods behind the house before dawn without a flashlight and climbed into a platform tree stand with a crossbow. From close range the witness heard loud owl-like vocalizations that shifted into screeching and tongue-clicking sounds from different directions. After daylight the witness photographed numerous tree breaks, bends and X-shaped formations in the surrounding woods.

After two researchers visited, played guitar, and threw rocks, a recorder left in the guest-house garage window captured about 30 minutes of baby-like crying, moaning, and hitting that sounded like pinging on glass. The crying recurred sporadically for nearly a week. The witness ruled out a human infant due to January cold and midnight timing.

The witness describes ongoing strange activity during about three years living at a rural home. A shed door was found ripped from continuous hinges, trees crashed loudly without visible cause, and knocks hit high on windows. Howls are heard at distance and odd bones and teeth appear on the porch.
