Over about a week the witness repeatedly woke alert at night hearing pops like small rocks hitting the house and a cat reacting. One night the witness heard several deep mumbling syllables directly outside the bedroom window that felt like a very large voice. A search with family and by car found no people, vehicles, or tracks except a car dome light on.

During a week-long visit home, the witness showed the mother eyeshine low over a grassy hauler. On separate trips to a car at night the witness twice heard a deep rattling pig-like squeal from the same area. No pigs or hog farms were known in the area.

While working in the park, the guest hiked to climb a mountain via a narrow valley and detoured to check an old cabin site. He found a large well-trodden trail, a shredded willow break, and a torn-apart rotten stump, which he attributed to snow and bears at the time. On the return in a sunny open spot he heard a loud single-syllable vocal from the woods over the creek and chose to leave for the wide river bar rather than investigate.

While on a large rural wooded farm, the guest and the farm owner heard what sounded like an off-trail dirt bike uphill on old roads. They hiked up to investigate and found no bike tracks in moist ground and impassable fallen timber. The companion reported hearing conversational voices that the guest could not hear, and they left the area.

While at a remote bush cabin, the guest stepped outside and heard a close-range high-pitched wailing and sighing sound about 100 feet away. He formed the impression of a nervous female with young nearby alerting others to his presence.

The guest had just returned home after enlisting in the Navy and let his dogs out. He walked about 700-800 yards southeast into the woods and heard loud strange vocals, then saw a tall red-haired figure standing behind a berry bush staring at him. He ran back to the house, found his small dog shaking and foaming, then briefly returned to look for tracks before a loud branch snap sent him back to the house.

During night surveillance at a cemetery focal point, the investigator watched an invisible-to-eye light move through woods on thermal. His field companion looked through the thermal and said it transformed into an upright heat-signature being that crossed a dirt road toward a knoll. About a minute later the investigator heard a loud primate-like scream followed by owl-like hoots from that knoll.

Late at night while photographing on the porch, the witness felt watched then heard a single grunt like a pig and horse combined near trees, later heard again behind her brother's house. Chickens were frightened with one laying prematurely, dogs barked, and her brother came out with a light and firearm. Around the same period a newly nailed chicken-pen roof was ripped back, mulch buckets were moved without spilling, finger-like swipes appeared in a bucket, and she often felt watched near the barn and swing set.

About two weeks after the roof sighting, the witness walked the same direction at dusk and heard very loud monkey-like noises from a wooded lot. She first thought it was a movie from a nearby trailer, but windows and doors were closed and the sound came from the trees. The noise stopped as she neared, then resumed after she passed, and she hurried away without looking.

A companion hunting from the middle stand about 200 yards away shot a small buck and had to retrieve it after dark during the rut. While recovering the animal he heard loud repeated grunting nearby that he did not believe was deer and could not see the source. The guest and his partner returned to check a baited game camera and heard running that circled to both sides before stopping. The pair heard slow advancing steps alternating directions and loud deep barks that the guest felt in his chest. After about forty minutes as darkness approached, they left without seeing the sources.

The witness was camped alone overnight while doing fieldwork and was awakened by breathing and a large shadow on the tent. The witness struck out three times, on the final time seeing a large hand-like silhouette with opposed thumb. The guest also recorded chimp-like sounds, and activity eased when her husband worked locally but resumed when he worked nights.

The guest and companions heard whistles, wood knocks and a pig-like grunt approaching up a ravine. A very tall light-colored massive creature emerged about 90 feet away and crossed quickly through weeds before descending a steep ravine without slipping. The guest chased with a video camera but only captured leaf glare, later finding a flattened grass trail where it had passed.

During the first night they heard a fast-moving loud vocalization, prolonged limb-snapping, stomping and tree-shaking across a field.
