The witness and a companion entered a cleared pasture near dark to look for a relative and approached a figure they first mistook for the relative. From about fifty feet they realized it was a hairy biped about six and a half feet tall. The creature turned to look at them, grunted, then ran toward the woods and stepped over a fence as they screamed.

Early one morning in March 1982 the witness was feeding young cattle in an outdoor pen on a dairy farm. After hearing a grunt, the witness saw a tall dark bipedal figure stand up near a hay feeder and then walk away toward the woods and over a fence. The witness heard crunching footsteps and fence noise for several seconds, then later found no tracks after the frost melted.

While squirrel hunting along the creek the guest and his companion watched a five-foot ape-like creature wading and looking in the water, which approached his companion then left after clicking sounds were exchanged with another unseen individual.

The witness, then about 11, went with his father to a surveyor's home in deep East Texas and followed the surveyor's young son down a thin trail behind the house to a deadfall. The son gave whooping calls, after which the witness heard approaching footsteps, heavy breathing like a horse, a deep word-like vocalization and a powerful percussive sound, then breaking limbs. The witness fled back to the house as a tall dark figure ran alongside through the brush, stopping when he screamed for his father.

The witness had left a pack with clothes and snacks at his deer stand the day before opening weekend and had noticed snacks missing in prior years. Approaching the stand over a ridge, he heard banging and watched a small ape-like juvenile jumping on the stand, swinging from a branch and climbing the ladder for several minutes. When it noticed him it made a low distress call, followed by an extremely loud roar from a wooded island about 100 yards away that he felt in his chest. He fled immediately and returned about a week later to find the stand torn down and the pack and contents shredded over a wide area.

A tall black hairy biped with a very human face appeared nearby, stared, roared, and exchanged whistles with another unseen individual. The witness and relatives were sleeping in lean-tos at a family hunting camp when the witness was awakened by shouting and gunfire. A relative said a tall, hairy figure had loomed over the shelter and then fled into the woods with loud crashing sounds. The group reported a strong foul odor around the camp and wood knocks shortly afterward, then left at sunrise.

Two people sat in a field at night using a wounded rabbit call to attract coyotes. A very loud two-toned roar-like crying vocalization was heard from the dark about 10 to 15 times and seemed to move without ever stepping into the light to be seen. The witness tried unsuccessfully to illuminate the source, left afraid, and later returned in daylight and found no tracks.

The witness went fishing before sunrise and heard a loud groan-growl from across the road that frightened him. After calming down elsewhere, he drove back, noticed paired trails in dew leading into oak woods, and followed them to a tree where a tall hair-covered biped stepped out. The two stared at each other, the creature appeared amused then agitated, building to a vocal display and urinating. Believing he was about to be killed, the witness fired a handgun into its chest at close range; the creature bled from the wound and mouth, stood, and climbed down a bluff toward water, after which the witness left and later found the road closed.

The witness, then 18, had gone fishing at dawn near a lake and heard an unusually deep groan-growl from across the road. After driving away to calm down, he returned, parked, armed himself with a large-caliber pistol, and followed disturbed dew trails into oak woods. About six feet from an oak tree a tall hair-covered biped stepped out, exchanged prolonged looks, then appeared to work itself into an agitated vocalizing state while urinating. The witness fired at close range into its chest, saw heavy bleeding from the wound and mouth, and watched it clutch its chest, stand, and disappear over a bluff toward the water.

Two brothers were trailblazing through dense brush at the edge of a marshy swamp in the morning when they heard a very deep, loud howl that echoed. The sound then changed to match a purported Bigfoot scream recording the witness knew, continuing for about half an hour. They also believed they heard a faint answering call from elsewhere in the swamp.

In late June or early July 1981, the witness was sleeping on the floor of a friend's home when awakened by an unusual humming and grumbling sound. She saw the outline of a large broad-shouldered figure with a muscular arm and hand cupped to look through a high upper window, which she estimated would require at least seven feet of height. The figure looked in for about a minute, then walked around the house into the woods as the humming resumed. A search the next morning found no tracks in the hard-packed dirt.

The witness was fly-fishing in the river when a dog nearby began barking at something in the thickets. A tall dark hairy creature stood up, made ticking teeth sounds, and walked toward the woods as a strong musky odor was noticed. The witness drove to town to report it and was later turned away by state police who had cordoned off the area.

A tall dark-haired biped stood up from the brush, was observed walking through the thicket, then left for the woods. The witness reported the sighting, returned to find police blocking the road, and later saw a large search with vehicles and helicopters but never received follow-up.

The witness was fishing on the north bank of a river when a dog on the south bank barked at brush and confronted an upright, hair-covered animal. The animal knocked the dog down, emitted a ticking sound and a musky odor, then walked into the woods where the witness lost sight of it while wearing waders. The witness later found the dog with blood on it and reported seeing a taped-off police search at the site.

The witness crawled through a cane thicket to inspect an oak tree for a deer stand and found a large hairy creature sleeping. It woke, stood, paced and vocalized, then bluff-charged to within a few yards before veering off and crashing through the thicket. The witness kept his rifle ready, backed out scratched by briars, and was followed by screaming until he reached his truck and drove home.

The witness was left to walk up a long steep driveway at night after others drove ahead and heard heavy steps matching her own. Near a lit barn she saw a very tall shadow, ran, and felt it breathing over her head. Her dog intervened and was picked up and thrown over a pool, suffering severe tearing, and hairs not belonging to the dog were later found in its mouth.

After deer burst from nearby woods, a very tall dark bipedal figure roared loudly and charged through brush toward them, causing them to flee to the car and drive away. Wildlife officials later suggested a bear, which both witnesses rejected.

From across the valley he watched a large hair-covered biped feeding on the ground for about fifteen minutes, at times standing alert to listen. It turned, screamed, grumbled and clicked its teeth, then walked under a high limb before the witness left for the house.
