Hunter hears unusual vocalizations on two occassions
The witness camped overnight in the cab of his truck before deer hunting season. Around 4 a.m. he got outside and heard deep breathing nearby, then after getting back in the truck heard a high-pitched warbling yodel from the direction of the mountain. He saw nothing with a flashlight and stayed awake in the truck until dawn.

While camping alone in a tent on a hunting trip, the witness heard unidentified calls over about an hour and later was awakened by movement and shaking of the tent. The witness noticed the tent had been lifted and saw a shadow pass by, then illuminated a large dark human-like figure about 20 yards away that turned and ran into the brush. The witness kept lights on until sunrise and packed up and left the next morning.

The witness and companions were hunting and camping by a gravel pit near a pond. In the late evening they noticed a strong odor from across the water and two of them crossed a dike to investigate. They heard growls and vegetation shook violently, so they retreated. Through the night they heard moaning and howls and had rocks and limbs thrown toward them from across the pond, finding no tracks the next morning.

The witness was at home with a neighboring family in late August, watching children play in the yard near sunset. A loud, powerful call was heard repeatedly from across a creek about 150 yards away, starting low and rising higher and unlike any known animal. The adults listened and later searched the creek area with flashlights but saw nothing. Afterward the children avoided playing outside near dark.

In the early morning the witness was at a rental mobile home property with his wife to check on tenants and let dogs out. The dogs refused to leave the porch while reacting to movement in an adjacent tobacco field. The witness saw a large hunched furred figure with a rounded back in the field and a smaller figure moving away, and heard exchanging chuffing vocalizations and a distressed mewling sound from the field and from across the road near a creek. The figures moved toward tall grass and the tree line, a tree across the road shook as if climbed, a musty odor was noticed, and mashed grass trails were found the next morning.

The witness climbed to a densely wooded area behind a dry waterfall in Spring Canyon to get a view. They heard a grunting humming sound with foot stamping and loud bull-like breathing, followed by total silence. They moved to the waterfall's edge, waited with no further sounds, and chose not to enter the woods, later suggesting it might be a Bigfoot residence.

The witness was walking home across a bridge at night when splashes were heard from the river below. Going down to the bank to look, the witness saw a large hairy ape-like figure standing in the river. The figure turned and ran through the water toward the witness while making a gurgling sound. The witness fled up the bank, fell while running, and later avoided the bridge at night.
Possible vocalizations heard by resident near Bowman Lakes
The witness and a relative were camping on a rural forested property and getting ready for bed when they heard a long harsh yowl close to the campsite and heard something moving. When the witness shone a flashlight toward the sound, it stopped and seemed to move away without being seen. No physical evidence was found, and the sound was provisionally dismissed as a coyote although the witness doubts that explanation.

The witness found a large human-like footprint on a muddy curve and returned with a camera and casting supplies to document it. While making the cast, nearby bushes rustled violently and the top of a small tree snapped off and fell near the road, followed by several whinny-like vocalizations from the woods. Days later the witness believed an outline of a figure appeared in one photo and reported being followed on later visits to check for more prints.

The witness was mowing a lawn when rocks were repeatedly thrown toward them, accompanied by a foul odor and laughter-like sounds. They then saw a very tall creature behind a tree and fled toward a door. Looking back, they saw it running through trees and brush.
Nighttime sighting by four witnesses, near Plainwell
Late at night at home, the witness and three companions heard banging on the deck and went outside to investigate. In moonlight they saw a large shape kneeling on the lawn that stood and ran across the lawn, through a puddle, and up a driveway. The group later heard low growling and groaning, and the following afternoon the witness found a large footprint in a nearby sandbox.

The reporting relative relayed an account from the witness, who was painting a vacant house at night. Around 10:45 p.m. the witness stepped into the front yard to smoke and heard dogs barking and something crashing through trees. A very large, hairy creature ran past at high speed making loud grunting sounds before crossing the road and disappearing.

Two companions were camping overnight on a fishing trip near Sullivan Lake when they were awakened by a distant crash and a musty odor. A second, louder crash close to camp was followed by a grunt, and the narrator saw a tall gray-furred shape through the tent mesh that fled when lit by a flashlight. Both spent the rest of the night in the truck and left the area the next day.

A gamekeeper living alone in an abandoned farmhouse in the forest began experiencing a sphere of light, sounds of a baby crying, chatter and a constant feeling of being watched. One night he woke to see a huge dark figure stooped at the window looking in for several minutes. On another night he lay outside to watch the farmhouse and saw the tall figure appear without walking motion, look in, then leave. He left the location the next day and kept the story private for nearly 20 years.

As a 12-13 year old helping his uncle clear trees, the guest sat on a tractor watching a dozer. He heard an extremely loud roar from the ravine behind him that drowned out the equipment and scattered deer and other animals. He then saw a large black figure watching from an abandoned barn doorway for 25-30 minutes, later pacing the doorway to estimate it at 8-8.5 feet tall.

The witness and two children were reading inside their trailer in the park campground one evening when they heard an extremely loud, unfamiliar echoing vocal sound described as between a cat-call and a moo. The sound seemed to come from across the river despite closed windows, and was louder than human campground noise the witness had previously heard. The witness, experienced with local wildlife sounds, said it matched nothing previously heard.

While guiding two clients and accompanied by his wife on an elk hunt, the witness reported hearing a low guttural vocalization that he did not recognize as elk or bear. After moving to an aspen grove, the group heard loud repeated knocking sounds likened to logs or sticks hitting trees. The next day after snowfall, the witness returned and found a fresh cow elk carcass with its chest torn open and large indistinct tracks with a long stride nearby.

While hunting in dense pines the witness repeatedly heard loud expulsions of air and branches breaking moving around him. After returning to the area with his father, deer were spooked by the same sound. The witness then saw a large black-haired figure sitting under a pine about 30 yards away and stared at it before it stood and bounded away making the same noise.
Growl near Gabbs, Nevada (2001)
The guest and his son were cutting wood when a herd of cow elk approached closely and stared back toward the timber. They then heard a deep roaring grunt from brush, like a bear about to charge. They stopped work and left, learning a friend nearby had also heard yelling and seen elk flee.
