Rural resident hears knocks, howls & finds a footprint near Wellborn
A few days after finding a large footprint near a swamp by his home, the witness was inside his house just after dark when a very long loud howl was heard. Shortly after it ended he heard three wood-on-wood knocks, knocked back the same pattern from his railing, and received another knock response. A short time later a second, lower-pitched and more distant vocalization was heard, which the witness felt came from a second source.

The couple were night fishing from boat docks around midnight when rocks began splashing into the water on both sides of the cove. Two unseen sources on opposite banks threw large rocks and produced deep growls, screams, and howls in unison for an extended period while the couple remained on the dock. They eventually left the dock for their cabin and continued to hear the sounds from the overlook.
Bowhunter finds large barefoot prints in the snow near Drummond
While bow-hunting in fresh snow, the witness found a trail of large barefoot-like tracks and followed it about 70 yards to a thicket. After getting into a tree stand, the witness heard knocks, breaking branches, growling, huffs and moans from about 100 yards away for an hour. Becoming nervous, the witness left the area.
Multiple encounters near an old strip mine just outside of Harrisville
The witness and a companion camped beside a strip pond after fishing and cooking. Around 4 a.m. the witness awoke to heavy footsteps coming down a steep high wall to the tent, followed by heavy breathing and a throat-clear that mimicked his own. He shouted that he had a gun while his companion remained asleep, then heard the visitor drink from the water with its hands, sit briefly by the tent, and climb back up. The next morning they found 18-inch tracks at the edge of the reeds.
Vocalization near Victoria, Texas (2007)
The witness drove to the back of a hunting property and left the truck running while replacing an apple block and checking game trails. While squatted looking for sign, the witness heard a close guttural sound, drew a pistol, felt heavy footsteps, and saw a very large biped run about 20 yards through brush before dropping to all fours and crashing away. The witness found no tracks due to soil conditions, backed out to the truck, and drove away watching for pursuit.

Two companions hiking back from a mountain trail claim rocks were thrown toward them from the woods over an extended period, starting with misses above and behind them and later coming close enough to duck. They also report hearing an unidentified whining sound, possible footsteps, knock-like sounds, and a tree being shaken, without ever seeing the source. Near the area they noticed a green limb broken high and left hanging.

The witness and a companion were walking a nature trail at night when they heard repeated wood-on-wood knocking. They approached the sound and saw a tall muscular figure that looked at them briefly before running away. Both witnesses were later interviewed separately and estimated the figure at 7 to 8 feet tall.
Man finds possible footprint outside Palatka
The witness was hiking alone on the Florida Trail when he found very large bare human-like footprints on a dirt road that had been clear of prints shortly before. He did not see the track-maker but reported feeling watched and then hearing a yelp described as half dog and half human. He did not photograph the prints and hurried back to his truck.

The next night near dumpsters by the river, the group heard angry gorilla-like grunting and recorded the last 30 seconds as the East Central Ohio Bigfoot Chatter. The guest listened with a bionic ear as a bipedal creature climbed a steep bank and watched from behind a tree for about 20 minutes with faint reddish-orange eyeshine.

On the first night of an April BFRO expedition, the guest and two companions heard powerful rapid thumping behind them and then heard bipedal steps approaching through grass and river. Their flashlights revealed high greenish-blue eyes that widened and turned away before leaving. The next day they found a deer torn in two pieces about 40 feet apart with bones intact.

The witness went turkey hunting alone on a leased property he had hunted for years. After calling turkeys that suddenly fled, he saw a dark figure approach that he first mistook for a person, then recognized as a large hair-covered creature. The creature confronted him vocally, reacted aggressively when he reached for his shotgun, shook a small pine tree, then stared before walking away yelling, after which the witness fled to his vehicle.

The witness arrived early to turkey hunt from a prepared clearing on land he had leased for years. After calling for about two hours he watched approaching turkeys suddenly flee, then heard slow bipedal footsteps in the creek bottom. A dark figure he first mistook for a person approached to about eighty feet, grabbed a pine, vocalized angrily with language-like sounds and growls, displayed teeth, rocked and shook the tree, then walked away and gave a loud abrupt yell. The witness waited before leaving on foot, heard a loud fresh tree break, ran to his four-wheeler, left, then returned with a rifle to watch the treeline.

The guest was turkey hunting alone on leased land he knew well. After turkeys spooked he heard footsteps, saw a figure he first took for a man, then watched it grab a tree, vocalize angrily, rock the tree, bare teeth and leave with a loud yell. He describes its size, barrel build, face, mud and debris in hair, then walked out watchfully, left gear, prayed, and sat with a rifle by his truck.

The witness and a male companion were helping move into an isolated old farmhouse in Iowa in March 2007. After moving until late at night around a large bonfire, a huge creature revealed itself by shaking and breaking a large oak tree about 20-30 feet away while producing an extremely loud vocalization. The two men fled into the house, barricaded the doors, and hid until sunrise. In the morning they found the oak severely damaged with snapped limbs and cracked trunk.

The witness and a companion were in a wooded strip mine area in the morning when they heard a loud groaning sound. They went to check for someone hurt and saw a large brown figure standing about six feet tall. The witness yelled to scare it, the figure looked at them and then ran off into the mines. They searched for about an hour without seeing it again.

The witness stepped outside the home on consecutive February nights and noticed a strong wet-fur odor, progressive dog barking followed by eerie high-pitched calls from across the river, and repeated knocking sounds like wood impacts. He compared the vocalizations to a reference recording and noted the nights were dry, clear and calm. No visual of the source was reported during these nighttime events.
Couple hears possible vocalizations half mile north of Winlock
The witness and his wife were outside watching their dogs late at night when they heard an unfamiliar sound from the north toward a creek. The wife said she had never heard such a sound before. After going inside, she compared it to animal and Bigfoot audio clips and said it sounded identical to the Bigfoot clips.
Road crossing sighting by motorist on Hwy 55 north of Seneca Rocks area
The witness was driving south on Route 55 near Seneca Rocks late at night in rain while towing a trailer when he saw a tall hair-covered biped about 20 feet away. He turned around, shined headlights and a flashlight into the woods, then heard movement through brush, vocalizations and wood pounding for several minutes before silence. He returned the next day, found apparent footprints, and photographed them.

Eight people gathered in a barn late at night heard earlier-reported sounds while a horse circled and vocalized, something struck the barn wall repeatedly, and thrown objects that missed were followed by grunts.

The witness and two companions went night fishing for catfish along the Kern River to avoid daytime heat. After hearing an extremely loud deep roar that caused physical fear, they saw a very tall black bipedal figure across the river that shoved a large live tree until it snapped. The figure then entered the deep fast river and moved toward them with apparent ease, prompting them to abandon their gear and flee by car.
