The guest and his wife were driving back at night after picking up hay for their rabbits. They noticed eyeshine low to the ground ahead, which suddenly rose to about seven feet as they approached. A tall dark shape then hopped twice like a kangaroo and disappeared into the tree line. They turned around to look again but it was gone.

Two sisters were playing at night on their wooded family property when they heard gravel crunching footsteps and heavy grunting breathing. A huge hairy biped walked parallel to them, turned its head toward them after one yelped, and they fled inside. The witness was riding as a front-seat passenger in a van approaching a curve when they saw a large furry figure running upright across a crossroad and behind a billboard into brush and woods. The witness was driving southbound with a companion in the afternoon when both noticed a large dark hairy figure moving through fallen timber beside the road. They described full front-to-back arm swings, massive arms, clumpy blackish hair and no neck, visible from the waist up for about six seconds. The driver stopped and turned around but had no further sighting.

As the engine faded they stood up and two huge black hairy animals on all fours charged past very close and veered away. A small dog chased them while the witnesses yelled and banged shovels and fled, later concluding the animals had stalked them undetected through the thick brush.

While moose hunting from an ATV in rainy daylight, the witness heard footsteps from a gully and saw a muscular hair-covered biped about 40 yards away. The figure grabbed a tree, ducked into dense brush, and a raspy cough followed by a deep sad howl was then heard from cover. The witness waited without further sighting and left the woods early, reporting fear.

Two people were boating in a creek on a rainy, windy morning when the witness saw a bulky black bipedal figure 30-40 yards away. The figure walked steadily toward the woods for 10-15 seconds, swatted a branch aside with its left arm, went up a hill and disappeared without looking toward the boat. The companion kept his head down against the weather and saw nothing.

The witness, then a child sleeping in a cabin, claims to have been awakened around 2 a.m. by a deep sneeze-like sound and a strong foul odor. A very large monkey-like head peered into the bedroom window, blocking the light, with huge eyes, a large flat nose, little facial hair and deep nasal breathing. The witness whimpered, the mother entered and the figure left; in the morning plowed vegetation and footprints were reportedly seen.

The witness woke in bed at night and saw a large silhouetted figure with wide shoulders looking through a high bedroom window for about five minutes. The figure appeared to watch and breathe loudly, moving slightly when the witness moved, then turned and left. The witness ran to a parent, who went outside, saw nothing but noticed a strong smell. By morning two pet rabbits kept outside were gone, with no damage to the cage.
