About three years ago on a winter morning the witness's wife woke him about a bright light in the neighbor's back field. He watched a streetlight-bright light that did not illuminate the ground and appeared to swirl within itself for about 25 seconds before it vanished. In daylight there was no new light fixture and snow showed no footprints near the barn.

About a week later the witness walked to the barn for his motorcycle with no thought of anything spooky. He saw a semi-transparent white lower half of a person moving erratically by the barn door. He threw his helmet at it and it ran toward him then turned and ran toward the cabin.

Everything went silent and he saw a lion-like maned creature with large black eyes watching him from down the path. After a tense stare the creature backed into the woods and the witness fled past on his bike to the road.
