The witness was handling hay bales behind the house and went to retrieve one that had fallen near a swampy drop-off. After circling around a large tree, the witness saw a very large dark upright figure crashing away through vines and palmettos. The figure headed east then turned northwest, wading across a waist-deep canal on two legs before becoming obscured by brush.

The witness was driving with two passengers on Highway 175 toward Many, Louisiana, when an upright, hairy, man-shaped creature crossed the road in a heavily wooded area. The witness saw its right arm and legs as it stepped into the woods and described it as huge and lanky with long hair hanging from its arms. The witness and a relative in the car both reacted verbally at the time and later said they no longer travel there at night.

While following a white sedan on a misty morning, the witness saw the car brake hard and then saw a huge black man-like figure stepping off the road into the grass. It filled his passenger window despite being twenty feet or more away. The sedan exited ahead and he did not speak with its occupants.

In 1985 the witness stood in a large backyard bordering pine forest late in the evening to look for a comet when an extremely loud scream came from the forest edge. While running toward the house the witness saw a very large upright creature standing in shadows at the tree line that seemed to move after the witness slipped. The witness ran inside to report it to a relative and returned the next day to sit in the branch level with where the creature's head had been.

While hunting with a dog in the late afternoon, the witness felt watched. The dog ran into a thicket and barked, then a loud scream was heard over the barking followed by snapping branches, and the dog fled home. The witness then saw a tall dark outline standing in the brush about 25 yards away that seemed to start moving toward him, so he ran home and found the dog hiding.

A group of youths watching cattle from a hill saw the herd become anxious and flee a corner of the field. They went to the fencerow to investigate and found reddish hair on barbed wire and a small pine twisted and knocked over high up. After hearing movement, two of them saw a face with gray-white eyes and reddish hair about seven feet up near the broken tree and watched it for about two minutes before fleeing.

The guest shone a flashlight on its torso and yellow eyeshine before it raised a large hand to block the light, and both boys fled screaming.

At night while at home, the witness and two relatives heard a loud impact that shook the rear of the house. They then observed a tall, large dark hair-covered figure passing a high dining-room window and filling it from edge to edge. A relative retrieved a firearm and the household stayed awake for most of the night.

The witness and a companion were duck hunting by boat in a Louisiana bayou at dawn when they noticed a large hairy form in the water ahead. The form appeared to walk upright toward them, showing long hair, a bearded face, and swaying shoulders above the waterline. Unable to identify it or get a verbal response, they became frightened and motored away, abandoning their decoys.

He noticed movement by a large tree about 15-20 feet away, made eye contact with a dark figure, and it screamed and thrust its head forward. The witness was paralyzed with fear until the mother pulled the witness from bed. After something struck the back of the house hard, the witness, mother, and grandmother saw a huge brown-haired form blocking the dining room window before it moved sideways toward the bedroom.

A few days later at a different training location, the soldier watched red, green and blue lights moving through distant trees at dusk. The lights appeared organic with soft hazy glow and seemed to weave intelligently around trees. Another soldier nearby looked and could not explain them as fireflies.

The witness stopped a logging truck and trailer at a job site in the early morning to tighten straps. After noticing a rotten smell, the cab door shut and straps were yanked on the opposite side. Looking up, the witness saw a huge hairy creature with an elongated pointed head and sausage-like fingers watching and sizing him up. The creature backed away and bolted for the nearby treeline when another truck's lights appeared, and the witness later left trucking after being ridiculed.

When the witness looked again it was gone. The next day the witness found no stump but saw slide marks and a single footprint in gravel leading to a pine thicket.
