The witness was driving north with a companion late at night when a large figure emerged from a ditch on the passenger side. The figure paused at the edge of the road as the SUV passed very close, with its chest level with the passenger window and its head near roof height. The witness estimated the figure at 8 feet tall or more and described grayish-white coloration and very thick arms.

The witness hiked to a riverside fishing spot on a sunny late morning after a cold night. As he came up an embankment he saw a large hairy upright animal standing in the sun about 30-40 yards away and watched it for about 15-20 seconds before speaking to it. The animal then avoided eye contact and left quickly uphill, after which the witness heard rapid knocking sounds like a drum roll from the ridge. He camped there overnight without seeing it again.

Witnesses in a newly purchased rural home surrounded by woods and swamp report repeated dusk and late-night activity. The claims include regular screaming and howling, a recurring skunky rotten odor, heavy running sounds felt on the porch, sightings of a large adult figure running and a large figure squatting or kneeling near outbuildings, and large tracks found with smaller prints nearby. Follow-up details add a frequently seen tall stocky female moving quietly, brush piles repeatedly dragged from an outbuilding to a driveway, and whoops that were reportedly answered and approached.

At dawn while driving to work, the witness scanned a pasture for deer and saw a tall man-shaped figure standing in grass about 30 yards from the road. The upper body and head were visible above roughly 3-foot grass, with an estimated total height of about 8 feet. The witness continued about a quarter-mile before being able to stop and return, by which time the figure was gone without a visible trail, and after watching several minutes continued to work.

Around midnight the witness went outside to take trash to the street and saw a tall broad-shouldered silhouette with long hair standing above a 6-foot fence. She first thought it was a person or a trick of light but felt uneasy and went back inside after judging it too tall for a person. The next day she found nothing at the fence that could explain the shape, and her dog behaved unusually restless after being let outside.

He then heard a loud crash and heavy bipedal steps from across the creek and saw a wide, dark-brown human-like silhouette in the trees. While walking on a road at night he heard branches breaking and a loud vocalization, then saw a very large dark fur-covered shape between trees on a rock face. After hearing a deep exhale-like sound and losing sight of it, he ran back to lodging.

The group noticed a strange odor, heard persistent movement and muffled grunts, and watched something peeping from behind a tree. Later a skinned rabbit hung high in a tree disappeared, bare footprints larger than the workers feet were found in mud by a creek, and loud limb-breaking sounds caused the whole crew to flee.

The witness stood on a back step calling for a dog and looked over a tall kennel. A large hairy creature with reddish-brown hair was partly visible behind the kennel, showing part of its head and a long arm. The witness estimated it was about 7 feet tall because it stood taller than the kennel, then heard landing thumps and ran back inside.

He turned to see the back, shoulders and head of a very large, hunched, hair-covered creature retreating behind bushes near a yard light. He could not see its face, legs or feet and later measured a nearby limb to estimate its height.

Late on a Wednesday night the witness was watching TV above the garage when he heard something strike a garage door. After a few seconds he looked out the window and saw a tall hair-covered figure below the window retreating toward the woods. The figure disappeared within about two seconds. A family member later checked outside but found no tracks or other physical evidence.

Looking toward the river, he saw a dark, hairy, human-faced figure standing in the water watching his vehicle. He first thought it was a bear but concluded it lacked a snout and had human-like features, and he kept driving without stopping.
