The witness was driving westbound toward Tok with a companion while towing a trailer. The witness noticed a tall, light-colored animal standing at the treeline with its back turned, reaching up a white-bark tree with its right arm. The witness stopped the truck to get a camera, but the animal was gone by the time they exited the truck. The witness later estimated its height at over nine feet by measuring a similar tree from memory.

The witness's daughter was home alone late at night when she heard something pacing back and forth outside her bedroom window. She looked out and saw a very large black figure that appeared well above the bottom of the window. She called her parent terrified and hid until she was picked up. The writer could not see it clearly without glasses, and the cousin then dismissed it as a stump. When he waved and shouted, the figure quickly left. He later realized its height must have exceeded the doorway because it had to stoop.

The wife reports things running across the roof, chattering like chimps, tracks everywhere, and a fast blur-like run-past with long hair, plus a game-camera image of a gorilla-like figure with long mop-like head hair. There are said to be three individuals of different colors.

Two campers sleeping in a vehicle at a closed campsite on an island were overcome by a sense of being watched and unnatural quiet. A large powerful being with broad shoulders appeared very close to the vehicle, prompting fear that it could reach inside. One camper shouted and the figure left.

The witness was on a multi-day hunting trip on a mountain ridge above the treeline, using binoculars and a scoped rifle to look for bears. From 80 to 100 yards away the witness observed a large gray short-haired cat-like animal with prominent upright ears crouched on a rock, moving its head like a predator. The animal sensed the witness, moved its ears, then crept backward and disappeared. The witness chose not to shoot because the animal could not be identified.
