The witness relays that a relative heard her deceased cat meowing after it died, then photographed a visiting dog on the deck. On inspection to the right of the dog, a translucent cat shape with eyes and tail appeared in the image.

He saw its lower body with human-like buttocks and no tail, then heard crashing and smelled an intense dirty-feet odor.

Two people were riding ATVs up a creek canyon into meadows and pines. On the way down near sunset the rider in back saw a hairy arm and torso with a large foot leaning from behind a tree about ten feet away. He braked and returned, but the figure was gone and nothing could be heard.

While on a night expedition, the witness detected a distant moving heat signature only through thermal imaging that was invisible to the naked eye. The witness zoomed in and described it as large and solid red-yellow, unlike a deer seen the same way that appeared white-hot. The footage was to be compared and shown in the series.

At age 12 or 13 while exploring alone along a cliff top, the witness heard low grunts and rocks rolling below. Looking over the edge, he saw a very large hair-covered creature crouched on two legs overturning large rocks with its arms and hands. Startled, he ran back to his group.
Scream
The researcher and companions were surrounded all night by a group that screamed and caused a disturbance around their camp. One figure was seen behind a tent and one person was partially pulled from a tent. The group stayed around them through the night.

The witness's husband was riding his motorcycle to work early in the morning when he encountered something in the road that did not move away from sound. He sped up and rode sideways under its arm, injuring his back with scratches. His wife believed his account because he was normally fearless.

The witness's father was driving toward Denver for work when another car's lights lit a large hairy human-like creature in trees and bushes by the road. He looked for pulled-over motorists to explain it but concluded it was something unusual that frightened him.

Three friends drove back from a day of fishing when headlights lit a large human-like figure hunched by the roadside. It looked over its shoulder with bright eyes, then took a couple steps up the hill with pumping shoulders and disappeared behind a boulder. They later returned that night with a light to retrace the bend but could not relocate the spot or find tracks.

The witness stopped a truck on the highway in early morning to let a small dog out. The dog stared up a tree where a large monkey-like creature crouched, then a much larger creature carrying a wild hog emerged. Both creatures screamed at the witness, the female left toward a chirping sound, and the larger male approached, displayed the hog, then let the witness back away to the truck and drive off.

Four coworkers camped overnight to go grouse hunting. During the night something ran through camp and overturned both tents, stepping on one occupant. The witness fired three rounds of birdshot at a fleeing shape that screamed, and the group stayed up until daylight and left without finding tracks.
Movement only in California
About a week before the main night, the witness saw something large dart past on all fours and assumed a mountain lion. He fetched a coworker and they observed a heat signature looking around a tree with a thermal scope, and the witness fired a crossbow arrow that hit a nearby tree. The coworker quit the next day without explanation.

The guest watched his older brother mount a motorcycle and saw a brick-like object tumble toward his own face with the word wreck on it. He started toward the bike but it sped off. Minutes later he learned his brother had crashed down the road and found him being treated in the street.
Vocalization
In the early morning the homeowner heard loud inhaling, exhaling and stomping from the tree line behind the house while dogs reacted fearfully. After a family trip, other members heard howls and the family later saw large dark figures moving fast on the ridge and trail with trees swaying. The family found large footprints, snapped trees, log structures and arches in the woods.

While sitting at the kitchen table at night, the witness noticed two white eye reflections in a high window and gradually made out a dark face staring in at a young female cousin. The face was very close under indoor light, showing leathery dark skin, flared nostrils, thin lips and a grin. When its eyes shifted to the witness and its head slowly turned, the witness fled and others heard rustling up the mountainside behind the house.
Unidentified sound
Three people heard a very loud thud that felt like it hit the ground to their left. About 30 to 40 minutes later one of them saw a head peeking on thermal, which ducked down, popped back up, then walked away. The thermal video was said to be captured but measurement was inconclusive.

The witness was commanding a night convoy when the unit passed a fresh campfire burning alone in the road median in open desert. After passing, the rear gunner reported translucent figures near the fire. Local workers later told the witness the fire was associated with the Djinn.
