On a night when dogs were barking toward a hillside area cleared for pasture, the witness shined a spotlight and saw a human-like figure hunching and ducking behind knocked-down trees. The figure tried to stay hidden and then left in the dark. The witness fired shots toward the area and checked for tracks the next day.
Footsteps near Lisbon, Louisiana
At night with windows open, the witness heard heavy footsteps breaking limbs and crunching leaves approach the bedroom window, then loud breathing in and out. The witness was paralyzed with fear until the mother pulled the witness from bed. After something struck the back of the house hard, the witness, mother, and grandmother saw a huge brown-haired form blocking the dining room window before it moved sideways toward the bedroom.

While staged for night gunnery on a military range, crews ahead reported a large person downrange moving across the firing lanes as seen through thermal sights. Range control halted firing for hours to search for anyone downrange. The guest did not see the figure directly and only listened over the radio.

The witness's father was driving home from a trade show in Las Vegas toward the desert town where he lives. A light followed the car, visible in the rearview mirror, keeping pace and stopping when the car stopped. He photographed and filmed it before it disappeared suddenly.

The witness and his spouse were sitting on the back deck of their new house on an open pasture. They watched three very large animals moving on all fours through tall grass about 300 yards away at high speed. The movement did not match bear or dog locomotion to the witness, and the size and group behavior seemed unusual for local bears.

In October during high school, the guest and his brother parked on a four-wheel road to hunt and waited in the truck for daylight. Something slapped the truck with open-palm force enough to rock it, then they heard footsteps on the road. The guest stepped out, glimpsed a huge dark figure moving left to right, then grabbed lights and guns but found nothing and continued hunting.

The witness went alone with a dog on snowshoes in winter to find where the creature lived. In a frozen bog he found a knoll with a dark hole and saw the thing halfway out on all fours. He threatened it, backed out without turning his back, then hiked toward the pond in a whiteout. He saw a distant black shadow seeming to follow, shouted a warning, and continued to town.

The witness was walking out with two companions and a dog after hearing a howl. The witness glanced back and saw its back moving along the top of a stone wall. When the group made noise, it raised its front feet onto the wall and peered at them. They kept walking and did not see or hear it after the wall.

The witness and a classmate were squirrel hunting from a high ledge overlooking a bog. They spotted a dark animal below that the witness thought was a small bear but looked odd. The classmate viewed it through the rifle scope, said it looked demonic and unnatural, and fled, leaving the rifle behind. The witness chased after him without getting a better look.

Coming home from third shift near daylight, the witness glimpsed a figure running through the front yard toward the barn. He found footprints that went around the barn, through the backyard, over a hot tub, around the house and over the propane tank, then disappeared with no continuation.

While standing on a raised deck calling for his dog late in the fall, the witness saw a dark brown figure in profile walk about six feet from right to left between the barn and house addition. It was as tall from the ground as he was on the deck. He went back inside without retrieving the dog.

The guest sat outside and saw a single red light moving through the woods at about walking eye level without illuminating surroundings. He noted it could have been someone with a headlamp but found it odd on the property.

As they left, something struck the nearby metal building with a loud bang like a vehicle impact, but nothing was found.

The host, guest and guest's brother watched a large man-like heat signature walking in a distant field through thermal. They climbed down and walked toward it. A scream sounded to their left, and when they looked back the figure was gone.

She went outside and watched a large oval multicolored ball of light hovering over the spring area for a few minutes before feeling frightened and going inside to get her husband, by which time it was gone.

The classmate lived on the far side of the government watershed from the witness's family property. The witness and a friend went dove hunting at dawn at a pond in open pasture. After a shotgun shot a very loud scream came from the woods accompanied by crashing wood sounds that moved toward them. The witness raised the gun, the noise stopped at the treeline, and they watched a large dark bipedal shape move along inside the trees as they walked back.

After a film screening, a man told the host he recognized the described encounter area. He said he had been in that spot and was chased out by something huge with red eyes. He left the area quickly.

The mother later said chickens were being killed nightly around the same time, culminating in a locked pen door being ripped off and many birds killed with necks wrung. She indicated she believed the child's report due to strange activity on the property.
